Breakfast, clean room, helpful friendly sfaff.

The place was remodeled about a year ago. Just beautiful. Great carpeting, paint and rooms. Great location and easy to get to. Breakfast was fabulous with eggs bacon sausage biscuits cereal and lots of nice food. Tasty and not like the usual plastic food. Beds were comfortable. Rooms very clean.

Seems like no hotel checks the sink drains anymore Ours was slow. Possibly clogged Room trash was not picked up in the 3 days we were there. Seems like hotels are getting away from bar soap. They had a nice liquid soap dispenser in shower with shampoo conditioner and body wash. Sink had lotion and body wash. Personally i dont like body wash but my wife does. Shower dispensers were nice idea tbough

They have made upgrades to the property and for the value, I was happy with the facilities. Each morning we had a hot breakfast with plenty of variety for all diet types.

If I have to point out one thing, it will be that the gap at the bottom of the door is to wide. The was a constant whistling we noticed on our first night. It was a simple fix by placing a towel near the gap.

There were cobwebs in my room and it may us uncomfortable. I very much enjoy staying at Holiday Inn but was disappointed at this location. I had a 2 night stay but made it one because the room had cobwebs. Photo taken.

The very first thing I noticed when we arrived at our room around 330ish pm was the air conditioner did not work at all. Went back downstairs to tell the desk and was told maintenance would check it. It was checked, labeled as broken, and I asked for another king bed room. I had paid for it the month before and wanted a king bed room as I had reserved. I was told by the desk that they weren't sure if one was available. They did manage to get us one, and we began to unpack our stuff. I do not trust their cleanliness because I found a really dirty soap dish at the sink, which was too small to put a little make-up bag on. Good thing I packed Lysol wipes......Our room keys stopped working 2x while we were there, and we had to go back to the desk and have them re-programmed. There was no complimentary lotion at the sink area, so I had to go ask for that as well. A big deal - My husband went to the desk to ask for a luggage rack - He was told, "We don't have anything like that here". We used to use this hotel fairly frequently in the last 2 years, but it has really gone down hill.
