Perfect location!

Location was perfect! We were able to walk to everything. The swings and picnic tables along the river were perfect for afternoon breaks watching the tubers!

I grew up in a large family so I am used to seeing dirt and debris left behind from others so I didn’t raise a fuss, but

Easy access to town. Everything was within walking distance.

The room was not cleaned properly. Change from the last guest was left on the night stand. Hair and scum were left on the shower walls.

I booked this trip for my husband's birthday and he loved it!

The location was excellent. We could walk just about everywhere we wanted to go. The peaceful atmosphere was wonderful. Breakfast varied daily. Great trip.

The room was a little dusty. There was hair on the pillowcases when we checked in. I received a text from Ryan to welcome us and ask if we needed anything. I asked for fresh pillowcases and he brought them right up.

HAD A DIRTY COMFORTER. SAW HOUSEKEEPING. STAFF VERY NICE AND APOLOGETIC AND EFFICIENT. REPLACED THE COMFORTER WITHA SMILE. VERY PLEASED.

Great location and clean hotel. Helen is a great unique Town.

The location was great and the suite we booked was spacious. It was ideal for 3 people as it had two separate sleeping areas

The property was dated and needed a face lift. The rooms looked tired and the breakfast area wasn’t large enough for the amount of people staying and baring in mind this was out of season. We also we had to wait quite a while for food to be bought out as all the chafing dishes were empty. The receptionist didn’t even look up from scrolling through her phone when I asked her for any restaurant recommendations.

Beds were comfy

The location the the city and shops was great and it had a great view of the river. Breakfast was delicious! My little one really enjoyed the make your own waffle station.

It was clean for the most part but some more attention could have gone into the details. For the amount we paid for the rooms, they could have ran a swiffer duster over some of the surfaces and made sure that there weren’t hairs and stuff left in the tub

The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed

It was close to downtown Helen.

The room was dirty. The AC unit had so much dust. The bed had stains and the floor too. It was gross.

Horrible. Stay anywhere else.

Breakfast was okay. Typical of Hampton Inn.

There was nothing sweet about our suite, other than it was quite roomy. The inadequate overhead light in the living room couldn't mask the level of uncleanliness that greeted us...enhanced by the smell. A mix of dirty feet and moldy cheese is a fair description. My bags stayed on the kitchenette table. Nobody in their right mind would sit on that stained, stinking couch to watch TV. The wall and baseboards around the air return was nasty. The bathroom smelled of urine. The carpet should have been replaced decades ago. The only slightly acceptable portion of the room was the bedroom, which was still sketchy. I pulled one of the kitchen chairs into the bedroom so my husband and I could at east sit and look out the window. I asked the front desk receptionist if someone could put air fresheners in our room or a can of Lysol, but she was apparently too busy making parking passes to inquire as to WHY I might be needing them and my request was ultimately ignored anyways. I felt dirty and in need of a hot shower when we left, and ever so glad to get to our next destination.

Quiet, clean, & excellent location

Very clean, comfortable, excellent location within a short walk to everything in Helen. Peaceful view of the river from our balcony!

The mini fridge defrosted before our arrival and was not cold to keep our lunches in.

I can’t wait to stay here again!

The property was amazing! It was beautiful, clean and a great location! the staff was also extra friendly!

The only thing I can think of to change would be the breakfast. It wasn’t bad but a wider selection of hot food would have been welcomed.

friendly staff, but hotel needs updating.

the front staff was always friendly, especially Ryan who worked like crazy answering phones and running around to clean and make cookies for the front desk. The breakfast was good selection of hot and cold foods, and location was great.

the room felt so dated and the blinds were ridiculous for blacking out light. I attached a picture of what our room looked like at 5:30am with the outside lights coming in. We weren’t trying to rise with the sun, so that was disappointing how bright it was in there. Also several stink bugs found in the room which was annoying to deal with. The staff said there wasn’t anything they could do about the bugs.
