This property was located conveniently away from downtown but too close to the freeway

The bathroom was very dirty - hair on floor and in shower. Dusty. Bed was old- sunk in the middle. Loud freeway noise.

Really pleasant stay! Would definitely stay here again!

The room was very roomy, large, and clean! The location was easy to find and to get to…the customer service was great! The lone kitchen staff on Sunday did amazingly well at replenishing the food items and maintaining cleanliness in the breakfast area, without any sign of stress!

Loud people loitering outside the front entrance and pool area Saturday and Sunday night. Slight mildew in the corner of shower in room 411.

Very good breakfast options--easy check-in--and out---nice size room---good parking space nice location

seat at the desk is too small and too low - curtains by window would not close completely to keep the bright night light out shower floor needs cleaning ---was supposed to have a Queen size bed in the room but got two double beds---one of the beds sagged on one side-----no comfortable chairs to sit on

We enjoyed our stay and will book again when we’re in the area.

Front desk and kitchen staff were very friendly our entire stay. The rooms were clean and soundproof, because we never heard any of my neighbors the whole visit. The pool was clean and stocked with towels and the breakfast was tasty and fulfilling.

The summer prices have kicked in and I won't be paying that again until they are more reasonable

We will deffinitely check out the Hampton Inn on our next visit.

Location was fine. The food would have been good if it were hot. The Quiche on Monday morning was excellant.

Breakfast was cold. Even the oatmeal was only luke warm. I did tell management that the eggs and sausage were cold.

I always stay at this hotel. It is right off the highway, consistently clean, staff friendly. The best reason to stay here? Never had ANY issues.

Overnight Stay while visiting Hubby

Location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff. Breakfast was good and many choices available

My room bathroom was very cramped. The shower door and the commode entirely to close is the only observation

The t v wasn't working when checking in. The front desk clerk immediately addressed it and it was fixed within 5 min.

So glad the place was clean and didn’t see any bugs!!

The staff was very nice and professional.

The side door slams really loud. We were located on that side of the building. So we could tell when someone entered or left.

The rooms were surprisingly spacious and extremely clean. Centrally located to New Bern center- about a 5 min drive, with plenty of well lit parking

Hotel Staff Makes The Difference

I requested handicap accessibility or a room on the first floor. Received a response back that my request would be honored but once I reached the hotel the staff said they didn’t see my accommodation request since I booked through a third party. That’s not the customers issue but a communication issue between the third party and the hotel. Once hotel staff was aware of the request they should try all they can to provide superior customer service instead of blaming it on “I don’t see anything in our system”. Somebody directed my mom opposite of the elevators. Had her walk extra steps she didn’t need to. This could have been avoided had we been placed on the first floor. We were put on the 4th floor with a bathroom not handicap friendly. The toilet was very low with no rail to help pull a person up. My 2 year old hated to stand in the shower when she is used to a bath tub. Also note the king bed could not fit three people like a California king bed in other hotels. I was frustrated with the room.

Just adequate

I liked the location. It did have a pool.

It was adequate. The room and its cleanliness was adequate. The breakfast was adequate. The desk people were nonchalant. The breakfast ladies were friendly. Just adequate. Around the pool was not clean.

Disappointed it was rated a 8 star but didn’t appear a to us as an 8 star

I think the room could use some updating. The toilet ran all the time, the air conditioner was very loud. The pool Area also could use some updating and cleaning! There were bugs and band aid the chairs looked they were from a conference room the were cloth
