Step back in time
If you’re looking for a slick new upscale place to stay, perhaps not the place for you. If you want a charming, family friendly and personable experience, Tween is the place! Wandering thru the charming cottages and lush vegetation to get to the pool or restaurants makes you feel like you’re in a different era! Love love love!

Disappointing
The food and staff
Way over priced, inside was like a ☆☆ motel. Very disappointed. Could have went to the keys for the same price. But the food was great.

Good but not Great
Overall it’s a nice property with nice people in a nice location. It felt old and dated but the room was clean and well appointed. Easy access to a great beach. With one exception the staff was polite and helpful. Spent $1500 for a 3 night stay including beach chair rentals and a few meals and drinks at the restaurant and pool.

Enjoyable anniversary
We enjoyed the location and the free kayaks and bicycles. Staff was great and friendly. Pool was clean and well kept. We did not eat on site but it always smelled great near the restaurants.
The beds in the rooms made lots of noise and seemed rickety. Such a beautiful resort we expected more of the rooms. It seems that we were in an older part of the resort. No microwave and the fridge did not get very cold.

Captiva/Sanibel Island
Love Captiva and Sanibel island. Our room was nicely decorated and clean. Was really well taken care of. Loved that we were so close to the beach. Definitely going back. If you love shelling and beaches the this is definitely the best place to stay.
The only downside is that all the stores and restaurants close too early even on the weekends. No complaints about the resort where we stayed other than no microwave in our room.
