Paid for a beach view, was notified 2 days before that it was unavailable and could not be refunded. Restaurant was closed and so was the bar and grill. Could have stayed home and looked a cold pool. Instead drove 3.5hrs there and back to be disappointed. I’ve stayed at this property before and never had a negative review

Room change last minute, couldn’t cancel or be denied the difference. Restaurant and bar grill were closed. Room was not up to par with other times I have visited. Both doors were hard to lock. The patio door only locked on the deadbolt. The front door needed to slam to lock deadbolt.

The beachfront view was beautiful. We walked out our balcony and saw dolphins in the morning. Great view of the coastline. Easy walk to the beach and waterfront. Staff was friendly and helpful.

No free continental breakfast. $19/person. Party of 6 we didn’t feel like dropping another $100+ for a (normally included) perk. This one you’re paying for the view. Vending machines are front lobby commissary. Higher prices for convenience. I’ve machine on our floor was out of order. Kitchenette was nice.

The website said there's a spa on site and it wasn't. Along with the beachfront accommodations having a spa was one of the main reasons I chose to stay here. That was very disappointing. I didn't complain but the noise level of guests nearby wasn't respectful of others.

They would not let us check in early. My spouse has medical issues and needed to rest. I offered to pay extra and they said nope! It was his last chance to see the ocean before his transplant surgery. I wish it wasn't such a rocky start to our trip. I know a lot of people ask to check in early but I feel you could have let us pay an extra fee instead we sat in the car for 4 hours. That's not ok. Also the front desk staff were just plain rude.

Great hotel! The staff was very professional and ready to help with any requests we had. The room and pool were nice and clean. The gentleman who cleaned our room was very accommodating and did a little extra since we had a toddler with us. The beach was great and so close! We will definitely be back!

The location was perfect! Near the pier with a section of beach not taken up by rows of rentable chairs & umbrellas (the cost of those, I understand were $35 a day - reasonable; but too close together for my tastes). We brought a beach tent which we set up in the open area & had more privacy.

The rooms weren't super clean. Going barefoot in the rooms made our feet black. Also, there was no fitted sheet on the beds which meant every morning the covers were a mess.

The room was on the ocean and the view was just what my wife wanted.

Pool was dirty, no one came to empty the trash daily, we received clean towels once the week we were there but never received any wash rags. They took the take the ones that were there the one time they cleaned the room but did not replace the rags. We paid for the breakfast buffet but needed to go to the front desk daily to get a pass to eat.

Excellent location, right on the beach and close to the pier and boardwalk. Clean, comfortable room. Nice atmosphere for families or senior citizens. Staff was friendly. Don't have any complaints!

No fitted sheets on beds, only a flat sheet to lay on.. on tope of the matress protector. - stained blankets not sure if they were even washed. . We had to purchase some for use. I went to the desk on serveral occasions and had to walk away, becuase the line was so long! Many staff members but only 1 actually assisting customers. Even after all the money spent there.

The location was nice and beach front and not crowded . We were able to check in early like 2 pm. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our stay.

The shampoo dispenser was not working in one of the room. Someone was supposed to come and fix but didn’t show up. One room did have any towels.

We loved being right on the beach and we loved that we were able to bring our Golden Retriever.

Parking was horrible. Not enough spaces available. There were never enough towels and washcloths provided. The coffee was horrible, very weak. They never provided enough cups. I don’t know how this hotel earned 3 stars. It wasn’t as nice as I expected and they’re very stingy with amenities. I expected more for the large amount of money we paid. We won’t book this hotel again.

I could not find an elevator in the building that they roomed me in. There were several entrances into the building but each had a flight of stairs to the 2nd floor. Thank goodness i was in good health and could carry my luggage up the stairs. I felt i was in a motel instead of a hotel.

Proximity to beach

This hotel is nothing short of a disaster. The photos on the web site are grossly misleading. The service is beyond disappointing. Room cleaning only happens upon request, but this was not told to us when we checked in, but only on the evening of day 2, after a series of disappointments. Although we requested room cleaning, on day 1, it was not done by 5pm, and on day 2, the second bed was stripped of pillow cases and blanket, as if the room was meant to undergo general cleaning. Front desk staff are either impolite and/or un-informed and not helpful. Complaints by telephone don't work; they put you on hold forever, and one basically has to walk to the front desk in person, with photo documentation of what is wrong in the room. We had booked a 'tower suite' for a large sum of money, but boy was I disappointed. Furniture chipped, balcony door dirty and lock broken, drawers in the kitchenette dirty with food (if not worse) residue, brown stain that looked like fungus or mill dew on the ceiling in a corner, curtain runner in living room broken and rotten. See pictures. There are other and presumably better hotels in the area, on the beach or a few steps away. This place does not deserve to be a member of the Marriott/Sheraton chain. Spare yourself the trouble and stay someplace else.
