We just spent a night at the Valley Inn, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful they are truly wonderful and will assist you with anything you need. The hotel is very old, it needs a lot of updates. Do not count on using the pull-out couches as a bed, all you feel are the springs. We traveled with multiple families, and they all said the same thing, no one could use them. In one of the rooms the microwave was falling off the wall, the rooms are very dark and college dorm like. We stayed in a 2-level room, which was fully equipped with silverware, plates, cups, toaster, Keurig, paper towels, a small sponge and soap for dishes. We wish we had packed a case of water because the tap water smelled pretty bad, had to run it for a while and then let the cup sit out... we also just filled our bottles up at Waterville ski resort. Hope this helps!

I enjoyed my stay, my needs were met, & I felt safe & comfortable.

The hotel breakfast was convenient, well stocked, & had good variety.

Had to go through a booking agency~ I find them difficult & if the Hotel would have given a set price for the season ~ Not weekend rates or snow condition higher price.

Hockey Tournament

The staff Rae in particular were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful especially the waffles.

I have no complaints, maybe to extend the hours for breakfast.

Nice staff, facilities haven't been updated in a while.

The rooms were spacious enough, it was nice to be able to do more than just sleep in the rooms. Having a microwave and fridge was a necessity, so thank you!

The breakfast was pretty gross. The bagels were stale, there weren't any eggs or sausage, and they had one small pitcher of water. Our room didn't have any antibacterial hand soap, which you absolutely need after using the bathroom. I hope they clean all the doorknobs & touchable surfaces in these places because of this. There were also no paper towels for cleaning up messes. The beds were like a hammock, you sink into the middle.

Wonderful &beautiful

Woke up to late to eat. The area was beautiful the young lady at the desk was an absolute delight.She helped us find a grill only one burner work but the burgers got cooked

I thought there were stoves in the kitchenette so we brought a lot of food to cook a lot of it went bad.

Superb

The hotel is located in the wonderful Waterville Valley, there are plenty of facilities around especially for outdoorsy people. The stay comes with a pass for local activities which is an added bonus.

The breakfast was a bit limited, could have at least had some pastries to qualify as Continental

Good and bad stay

Hotel is ok with history behind hit for sure. The room was spacious with useful little kitchenette. Pros: amazing location in the mountains Many extras with the passport card Staff extremely friendly and helpful Overall, ok hotel but not more then 2 stars

Cons: room as seen better days Matress was worn out and not fully comfortable Couch cussions were pretty flatned out Bathroom counter top had unglued parts and outdated. Breakfast was horrible and microwavable English egg muffin ... not good at all !!!
