Not a pleasant stay!!

Breakfast was terrible. It was a temporary set up in a deserted part of the hotel for a buffet . The food in the grab and go was terrible .

We were not notified of the construction taking place. No real restaurant or bar by the ocean as one would expect in Kaua’i. Part of the pool was closed off due to construction. For dinner there was a ridiculous tent with maybe ten tables set up, poor menu selection. Not the menu that was posted. Was really forced off property if you wanted a decent meal. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED !!

My holiday here was pretty much perfect!

The food was wonderful... the view from the balcony was amazing, the pool and the grounds were absolutely beautiful, poolside service was awesome, the staff were super helpful, the room was clean, the shower was deluxe, and the bed was just right... really really impressed with my vacation here, would highly recommend this hotel! I hated to go home...

The shower water was a bit hot at times but I think that's just the weather's fault. Other than that my stay was pretty much perfect!

I don't recommend booking this hotel

The location of the hotel was good, close to a small shopping mall and restaurants

The hotel was under constraction, not something big but at a vacation you don't want sawing nose, the room was book including breackfast but at the hotel restaurant I was updated that the hotel policy is up to two person covarage and we were a party of 4, the overall service from the staff was unplesent, the receptionist didn't gave me any answers regarding my reservation and just told me, "you booked by booking talk with them" at the restaurant the waiter didn't had the patiance to answer quastion and during our quastions just moved to the next table, and lastly the big pool of the hotel don't have any shade. After all, I paid good money and was extremely unsatisfied!

Power outage 2/3 of stay with reallly bad communication and no discounts

Great location. Property is in good shape.

The power was out for two of three days. No storms, the ENTIRE rest of the island had power. There was some construction at the property which seemed to have blown transformers. Very little communication from property throughout the outage and literally offered guests NO compensation, discounts, etc. restaurants and stores all closed, pool not quite working, not enough generator power to light anything other than stairway emergency exit and one elevator. Very poorly handled outage.

We loved how the property sits in that cove and the view was amazing with the back drop of those mountains

Under construction but we know it happens sometimes. Also the food at the property restaurant was just ok for the price.

The staff were excellent with a great attitude and eagerness to help and provide a great experience.

It was a nice resort.

The facilities were very nice as were the staff.

There was only a small lot on the side of the hotel where my room was and no one mentioned it upon checking in. It was difficult to get parking there as there were day use beach access visitors allowed to park there as well. The beach was ok but not great.

Not worth it, for a cheaper price you can stay in an Airbnb right next to famous beaches and with amazing views. We ende

It was near the beach but not a very pretty one

Very dated - we felt like we were at an old Vegas casino while staying in Hawaii. Food was really bad, very crowded, and extremely artificial. Why are there cheap Roman columns everywhere? There’s also a bunch of additional mandatory daily fees once you get there. My favorite was the mandatory fee for long distance calling benefits.

Beautiful resort

Great location, perfect resort experience with a nice beach, nice pools and beachside restaurant. Breakfast options are good but the Harbor Mall close by has great breakfast restaurants. 10 min drive from airport and close to most trip tour starting points.

Parking can be difficult as it is open to public beach goers. Laundry rooms are only in one tower and are only coin operated, so if staying in the other tower, it is quite a walk.

Very high price for a hotel under construction (they called it "reimagining" haha)

Nice beach and nearby restaurants. The staff changed us to a somewhat quieter room when we complained about the awful construction noise, but but our stay was already ruined.

There was a lot of noise and disruption due to construction, and from many helicopters flying low overhead during a great portion of the day. Also, the pool was not warm anough. The reception was a long walk from the front of the hotel, and the spa was cramped with poor amenitied, all due to ongoing construction.

Pleasant

This hotel is on a great stretch of beach but you really need a car to get around when you are here. Pool is beautiful but heater was not working so the ocean was warmer. Rooms were nicely remodeled, spacious and well appointed. Staff was very friendly!!

The common areas really need to be updated on this property. Lobby under construction and outside being painted so lots of construction noise during the day. The gym was in a temporary room that was dismal and warm and equipment was lacking. Bar and casual restaurant need updating.

Very big disappointment 😞

The sea.

The restaurant : there was only one servicing the entire hotel and Marriott Vacation Club. Long lines for breakfast. Pretty inefficient restaurant and very inefficient stuff. The food : less than average not tasty not good and expensive. The front office : the front of the services at the checking was quite inefficient they made a mistake and they made us wait 30 minutes for their own mistake. The house keeping WHO GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO SERVICE THE ROOMS ONCE EVERY FOUR DAYS. WE WERE NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS IN OUR RESERVATION BY BOOKING.COM. we paid almost $750 per night per room and there was no housekeeping for 4 days can you believe it. This new brands that are emerging they think they're smart but they are being profitable by taking from us or by not honoring the reservations the way a normal Hotel would do. Very cheap mentality and strategy. PREFER WELL KNOWN FOUR STARS AND AVOID THIS BRAND. AND BY THE WAY ONE OF THEIR HOTEL IN NY I STAYED, NY HOTEL ADMINISTRATORS ASSIGNED THREE STARS. It is THE WORST VALUE SERVICE PRICE I HAVE EVER GOT IN MY LIFE. PREFER SHAME ON BOOKING.COM THEY DID NOT NOTIFY US THAT THERE WERE NO ROOM SERVICE.

We had a wonderful stay and I will still choose to stay at this hotel when I visit Kauai next time.

I liked the hotel setting, its clean swimming pool. The hotel pays a lot of attention to the details. It's clean and comfortable overall, and hotel staff are friendly overall.
