No HOT Tub and the I wanted a shower the executives suites with the king bed

Location was convenient but loud.

We tried to eat breakfast at the restaurant, and waited for over 30 mins to get someone to take our order. No one came, so we left. Others were waiting around as well with no service. Having to pay for valet only was a bit much.

Room had broken slider lock adjacent to pool. I reported this as I was leaving for an event upon returning it hadn’t been fixed. I requested another room, this one had leaks in the faucet handles. The location was extremely noisy. Upon checking in at the desk I confirmed that we were with USTA and our parking rate per day was $20. My bill showed $30. per day so before leaving that had to be changed. The only high mark I can give Walnut Creek Marriott is for the garage staff.

Cleaning staff seemed to be on the floor all morning into the early afternoon. I had tested Covid 19 positive prior to check in. I didn't have the cleaning staff come into the room while I was there. I took the trash to her in the hallway and also picked up clean towels 1 time during my stay.

The lighting was very poor. There was no place in the room that had enough lighting with which to read! Even the desk area had very poor lighting. I didn't want to go the the lobby being Covid positive, out of respect for others. It looked like 4pm on a winter day during what should have been daylight. I have been a Bonvoy member for at least the past 25-30 years and never have I been disappointed in the accommodations. I'll have to be more watchful when I make future reservations as the standard for Marriott was definitely not adhered to.
