I would like a refund for at least the day that my room was soaked

I didn’t. When I booked, it did not say that this hotel was under renovation and that the pool was unavailable, and that several rooms were being worked on, and there was only a limited amount of rooms to rent.

There was a rain storm and water was pouring into my hotel room, soaking the window ledge, the air conditioning unit and the carpet when I asked to get moved to another room I was told housekeeping would just clean it up in the morning

We did not even end up staying at the property and had to find another place to stay that night.

We did not end up staying at the property. After we arrived we were told that the pool was closed for construction. Monte or Montay is who I spoke with at the desk as he walked away stating he had to use the restroom mid conversation.

I was told I would get my full refund on two separate occasions to they even spoke with the property and it was confirmed that it was under construction and I still have not received my refund. I’m furious that now I have to dispute this with my bank.

Disappointing!

The location in conjunction to where we needed to commute to each day was great.

The property was under renovation, and honestly, it shouldn’t have been opened back up until the renovations were complete. The floor that we stayed on, which was the bottom floor, was in disarray. Wallpaper peeling off the walls everywhere, room numbers written on the walls, reaked of the smell of marijuana and occasional cigarette smoke. Although our room wasn’t too bad, it lacked proper lighting and there was no vanity with the sink, which made it very hard to use daily toiletries with ease. The toilet ran non-stop, and one morning the floor was all wet where it had either leaked out or sweat enough to leave pools of water. The staff did not speak proper English and were very hard to understand. The website stated their pool was open, but when we arrived, there was a sign that stated “under renovations, pool closed”. Most of the families that booked this hotel for our weekend dance competition booked for the purpose of the swimming pool, only to find out it was closed. Very disappointing to say the least. There were a couple families that ended up leaving and staying somewhere else because the amenities were terrible. Very disappointed!

Stay one night

Breakfast was delicious, but the staff to cook another dish, such as scrambled eggs, bacon, etc., took forever after the container was empty. We were waiting for new scrambled eggs for at least 15 minutes.

We don't appreciate the receptionist with inappropriate clothes, no name tag, and leaving her dog outside in the car at the front entrance (along with a fan inside and the extension cords between the vehicle and inside the entrance hall. It was very distracted. The room was muggy, with not enough air conditioning.

For the $160.00 charge, we felt completely ripped off. I expected much more from a Fairfield Inn

The bed was very comfortable.

First impressions mean a lot. When we drove onto the property, the pavement is in need of repair. Around the whole complex, up to the entry door, weeds were up to 3 feet high. If you didn't know better, you would think the hotel was abandoned. We had to request a bedspread since there was only a top sheet on the king bed. The coffee being served was some of the worst tasting coffee I've ever had. There was no fresh fruit out for breakfast and both toasters only worked on one side causing quite a backup waiting to make toast or toaster waffles.

Location was good for our needs. Room was clean. Workout room was nice but could have used a fan in there. Plenty of equipment.

The facilities/building needed TLC. Windows in the entrance needed cleaning. Outside of building looked shabby. Elevator needed cleaning. Hallways and lobby were clean but could use some updating . First impression was not great. Breakfast was at hotel next door and not in building( inconvenient). Pool was closed/not functioning(disappointing) No microwave or refrigerator in the room. Air conditioner in room was loud but became white noise for us. No staff on duty on Saturday night. We asked only for clean towels on our 2nd day and did not receive them. Some problems with our keys initially. Staff ok but was not overly engaging and seemed more stressed and annoyed.

Do not use booking.com it was supposed to have a pool but it was closed.

The Hotel staff was nice and was willing to refund my money when I found out the pool was not working which is why I chose this location, then they learned I booked with booking.com and tried to help me but booking.com would not refund my money.

The booking.com site said this location had a in door pool and so I paid a little extra for this Hotel for this reason got here and the pool was closed and booking.com would not refund my money because it was past the dead line. They need to be aware of the Hotel's accommodations availability so you don't pay extra for something.

lacking the traditional hotel stay more like motel

Staff quickly remedied the wrong room reservation even though it was a huge potential problem for him. He was helpful and friendly

The hotel has no staff, you have to check in across the street at "sister hotel" and walk there if you want to eat breakfast the extra bedding provided did not include sheets for the sofa bed, and you could not reach anyone from room phone you had to walk to another hotel for any thing you may need

The hotel was in very rough shape. Had to walk to another hotel for breakfast. The pool was closed and from the look of it for good reason. No room fridge or microwave.

Nice room, dirty elevator, and delicious breakfast.

The breakfast was good but we had to leave our hotel and go to another to have breakfast. Also I liked your employee Donald. He was pleasant, happy, helpful and he is one of the reasons I gave you better marks than what i wanted to give you.

I didnt like checking in at a different hotel after i got parked and out of the car to see a sign to check in at a different location. Olivia behind the counter was rude and a liar. I asked why we had to check in over there and she said the card reader wasnt working, when i asked Donald, he said they were short staffed, which makes much more sense. Also every time we asked Olivia a question we had to have her repeat her answer because she wouldnt talk up. The elevator floor was dirty and for that reason alone i will never come back to that Fairfield Inn.

I liked the breakfast. My boys are a little more picky. They would have preferred waffles everyday. I loved the staffs understanding of my son's "accidents" and accommodated quite well.

We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. The hot breakfast, free snacks & drinks in the lounge, the pool, & friendly staff made an otherwise sad trip more enjoyable. We came to visit s family member who was in hospice. Thank you for making our stay better.

One bed had NO BLANKET. No drinking cups in room. No coffee maker in room. Cooked breakfast items gone by 8:30 am & not refilled. No hot water for tea, no cream or half & half.

*the staff was friendly and apologized for rooms not being ready and no extra towels available *the bed was summer comfy and I had a great nights sleep

*hard to reach from westbound I-44 *room not ready after check-in time (several waiting on rooms due to housekeeping not finished) *extra towels not available at 4 pm or 11:30 pm *floor in room was dirty (looked like cereal) *mini fridge freezer was frozen over and blue (something split on it) *one elevator—hot and busy *hallway carpet needed to be vacuumed *breakfast was inadequate: scrambled eggs and turkey sausage—cereal containers were empty and other items were not stocked
