The location was convenient.

The rooms were not very clean, limited towels and pillows, no phone in the room in case of an emergency, the door locks were vandalized or missing/broken, lots of questionable activity going on outside, no blow dryer in rooms, television wasn’t working properly, lots of trash on the outside, could be up kept much much better. Give the property a power wash or something. Minimal soap and shower accessories like shampoo/conditioner. The absolute bare minimum care is given to these rooms.

Nothing, we didn’t stay the night even though we already paid

Terrible experience - we were required to pay in advance (non cancellable), but when we arrived the staff claimed not to have record of our booking. After multiple calls to booking.com we were able to check in. Since it was evening we didn’t have other options, and already paid. We quickly realised that it wasn’t safe to stay - I have backpacked to many places in South America, and haven’t felt as unsafe as I did at Econo! We quickly showered and left! Better to sleep in your car elsewhere than at this establishment! Complete waste of time and money

It’s in good location but too much homelessness people inside of lodge they make noise every time

Location and cost were amazing. Family trip to Discovery Kingdom made this an easy choice..

Extra $5 charge when I agreed to the $25 for early check-in. 4 pillows in the room, 1 pillowcase. That one had stains on it; pictures to prove it. Room door didn't stay closed. Came back from the theme park, door wasn't closed fully. My wife remember closing it. Room had flies, the vent protector wasn't on the opening in the bathroom; tape wasn't holding anymore.

Very old and not well maintained. Packaging tape covered the grout around the sink. No microwave, no fridge, not very clean. TV didn’t work very well. Noisy music in parking lot at night. Won’t be staying here again.

I had to rescheduled the five nights I had paid for 421.and change. I had the confirmation number and pins I was given on line. But Economic Lodge claim I was not on their system I was told in person to get ahold of Booking.com.,they would refund. When I called Booking.com I Only was told that it would be better for me to talk to the property manger. I went again and again they refused to talk to me of my refund. I have paid for a 5 night stay..But I was cheated and given the round around. I got hold of my bank and they are investigating. I feel a lawsuit is in order. How darn you Booking.com and Economic Lodge take my money and refuse to even admit you Both places have lied. I have all that was requested of me to show prove but still no fare resolved was made. Huge hole in ceiling bathroom with water coming out bathroom completely wet. Office did nothing. Very dangerous. Called 3 times. They won’t speak English hardly at all. We went in last day with security officer that walks around property due to rig raf, drug dealers whatever. I told him the story when we were leaving he went to office with us. They did nothing and didn’t care. Horrible horrible place. Calling Eco Lodge headquarters. They should not be using there name

Employees are ok, but hard to communicate since not everyone speaks English.

They sheets had big Stains, pillow cases missing, dirty toilet, dirty microwave, TV didn't work for 2 days/ got fixed but only 3 channels work, dirty floors with bubble gums and other items left behind. 2.towels for 4 people, not dnd sign, location seem unsafe since the parking lot it's open and people drive in to argue. Trash everywhere Room keys not activated for all 4 days of my stay, every night after work I had to stop at the front desk for new keys, room got cleaned once since I complained how dirty it was!!

Not too much that we did like

The AC unit didn't work. The TV went out and the staff didn't resolve the issue until later the next day,. They put us in a new room that had cockroaches and 3 of the 5 wall sockets didn't work. And the room was for handicapped people. And the staff didn't understand English so the language barrier was a major issue.

The price

It is the second time I am staying in this hotel and this second time they said their system did not have my reservation even having all my confirmation from Booking. It was a busy weekend so I believe they gave my room to another customer. Last time I stayed it smelled like cigarettes and had cockroaches, but because of the price I decided to reserve again not expecting that I was going to be poorly treated and dismissed.
