It sucked and I will never stay at a BW again.

it was a good location.

I didn't like anything because the first room I got was so incredibly disgusting--blood on toilet seat and floor, gunk in bath tub, crunchy stuff in the refrigerator, black dirt on all switches, plus more--and then I had to move in the middle of MY plans to another just regularly unclean room (which is what I expect) exhausting myself for the first three days of my four day trip! It was horrible and when I complained to Best Western.... they gave me ONLY 20$ off--working as a cleaner for the first two day of my trip and being exhaused and scieved out because of it is WORTH MORE THAN 20$!!! They have no respect for the custormer AT ALL.

DO NOT STAY HERE

We only stayed there for the covenience to walk into Troy. Otherwise it was a poor choice on every front.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We arrived after 4 (check in time) and there was nobody at the front desk for about 20 minutes. A cleaning lady went to look for us. The staff at the front desk, numbering only 1, was the only public facing staff I could see in the hotel. All 3 people who were there over the 18 hours or so I stayed, 2 that evening and 1 the next morning, ranged from disengaged to outright rude. Furthernore, the rooms are TINY and the bed was the worst I have EVER slept in. I am a big traveler so that says a lot. I could feel the spring coils in my back. The TV had very few channels. The room was far from soundproof and I could here traffic and a nearby wedding party music from across the street. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Location, updated fixtures, desk staff very nice, good breakfast selection.

$180 For a view of the air conditioning unit, room 212. Hair in the shower, bathroom floor, and on the sheets. Refrigerator wouldn't get cold for our beer!

The hotel appears to be newly renovated The atmosphere was very pleasant The rooms were clean I will definitely return to this location

I feel the front desk staff could of been a little more helpful/pleasant - Staff didn’t greet patrons as they came & went We stopped at the front desk twice & the staff did the bare minimum -certainly no above & beyond here - on one occasion- the staff appeared to be texting- she did not respond to a question we asked- never looked up & walked away without a response at all ?! It’s too bad b/c it is a beautiful hotel I’ve stayed at hotels in the past that cost a lot less than Troy BW - were not updated or remodeled- but the staff was amazing- I’d almost rather stay there & deal w pleasant/friendly staff

This hotel is a hidden gem in downtown Troy. Delightful breakfast area and such nice, helpful staff!

Great hotel,just a bad night.

We stayed here over 10 years ago and was pleased to see it maintained as well as it is.

We were awakened to a fire alarm and as we shuffled towards the outdoors we were informed by staff that this was a repeat occurrence for the weekend. In other words,it weren’t fixed. The honesty is appreciated but I was disappointed nonetheless.

The place was very clean but it let itself down with a very uncomfortable bed, almost as if the springs had gone on one side of the mattress. Considering the hotel looks fairly new the bed was a surprise plus it could have done with a blanket or duvet, it is winter after all. Room 304.
