Fire alarm went off at 12:47 at night n the bar had some problems with three or more people going in the outside bathroom like they was having sex

Location

With the cost being $350, we expected a little nicer place. The door to the ocean was rusted, the place wasn’t very clean and then a woman reported a bed bug upon our leaving which we were worried about.

Right on the beach.

The location

The bathroom shower had mold growing in the bottom of the shower. There was no place to sit your soap or shampoo in the shower so I had to set my soap and shampoo on the back of the toilet while I was showering. The toilet seat had chips in it, and underneath of it the toilet seat was messed up as well. There was no ice machine on my floor. Dirty linens left in the hallway along with trash that was tied up in the trash bags. In the room in the corner of it, the drywall was peeling from ceiling to floor. The couch that’s located in our room had stains all over it. The complementary breakfast was a joke. That was one of the reasons why we stayed there is to be able to save a few dollars on eating their complementary breakfast, but we were very disappointed. The only thing they had that was hot food was waffles, and you had to make those yourself if there was a line of people waiting to use to waffle makers that was available for the guest. And there was also instant oatmeal that was available. The elevators were dirty and nasty and had a smell to them. The carpet leading into the breakfast room was stained very badly. The windows in the facility in the hallway hallway leading to our room looked like they haven’t been cleaned for months. It was like pulling teeth to get towels and washcloths for our room. I did ask before checking out early if my last two nights would be reimbursed because I wouldn’t be there and the man at the desk said yes the manager would have to approve it. so when I was ready to leave, they denied me reimbursement so I called booking, hoping that they would have better success at my reimbursement for the two nights ,they made contact with the hotel, they denied booking as well. There was also a hole in the wall in the hallway with wires exposed, leading to the outside and yes, you could see light. There were also wires exposed out of the ceiling.

Good location and right on the beach

It had Roachs in the room. More than us was talking about them. We told the staff and on lady was very rude. I will think twice about staying there again.

Very old. Very dirty. There was bird poop all over the balcony and the door leading out to the balcony made the most awful screeching sound. The loveseat had all kinds of stains on it. Dirt build up all along the edges and corners.

the dirtiness, lack of staff, comfort, just over gross. smells horrible in the hallways. doors slam. they don’t lock all the way. the balcony doors seem broken.

Was under renovation and had no ice machines on one side of the property, paint peeling in bathroom. Had no furniture on balcony to sit outside and AC unit was noisy and falling apart.

The room itself was okay. Nothing special, but okay.

From my experience, pretty much every other hotel lists rooms as either “ocean view” or “partial ocean view.” I booked a room listed as “ocean view” so I was surprised when my view was mostly a wall and the pool. Even “partial ocean view” would have been a bit of a stretch. It seems I actually got the room with the worst view possible compared to even the other “ocean views” in the building. Room 214 should be cheaper than the others. I would have just booked another room, either here or another hotel, if that had been clear. Not sure if it was intentionally misleading or an oversight, but they should list it like every other hotel ever. The woman working the front desk was rude when I went back down because I thought they made a mistake. She did not offer me a solution. I didn’t want more for less…I would have gladly paid more for a room I actually wanted, but I just got attitude. I let it go and decided to just be glad I only stayed one night. Side note, the shower has 0 shelves? Not even a soap dish. Seems like there’s a lot of oversights happening in this hotel.

Disappointed. I know this obviously is not a double tree, but they lacked in the bare necessities for a decent nights stay. Upon arrival the sheets on the bed were stained in multiple places, the floors were not clean(sand was on the floor and we didn’t even go to the beach yet.) The towels were stained/ we did not have a full set of towels upon Check in. We requested more towels at the desk and was told they do not have anymore towels.. eventually Housekeeping came to our room to replace the towels and change the bedding. The results were the same- very stained / misc hand towels? There was construction happening , there was scrap pieces of wood materials on the lobby’s pool entrance(honestly didn’t even look safe to walk on/ over). Only one elevator worked and it was chaos. One ice machine located on the 3rd floor, on the other wing of the hotel (we were on the west wing/3rd floor, and had to take 2 different elevators just to get ice.) The shower was dirty/ had hair left in places. The toilet seat would slip if sat on.(BRIEFLY) I didn’t pay too much attention before hand, but parking IS NOT INCLUDED $10/per night AND is across the street. The deck was dirty and smelled like urine. The outside of the pool looked super dirty, needless to say, no one got into the pool while we were there. The showers by the pool direct “not to wash sand off ” of course there was sand in there, because the shower for beach sand did not work. (Luckily carried a bottle of water). I didn’t dare touch the furniture as it’s sooo stained and gross. Over all, it was rough. We only stayed for 2 nights and it was pretty bad. I honestly feel like the Days Inn across the street would have been better! Lesson learned: you get what you pay for.

We were visiting the beach for the first time with my family that booked it and it was horrible the first impression we got from the hotel. Construction everywhere they should have let her know weather to book or not.

I didn’t like how we weren’t told before booking that the property is under construction there is dust everywhere the pool was closed the elevators weren’t properly working . It smelled like paint in the hallway and Lysol from cleaning the floors I think in general chemicals aren’t good for my kids to smell and we should be aware that way we decide weather to book or not

The toilet seat was missing. Then when he came and put one on it was half way attached. Hallways were disgusting. Only had one rag. Not really what I was expecting on the ocean front.

this place should be closed during renovations. It is very dirty throughout, with overturned furniture all over, dirty elevator, etc.

The bathroom mirror was cute.

I wanted to see the ocean from my room, was the whole purpose of booking. I couldn’t see it because of the construction, couldn’t use the balcony door because construction. The bed was a little hard and the covers had holes and small stains on them. Our curtain was broken and one of the lamps almost shocked me when I turned it on

Breakfast is decent. Staff was OK. Location was good.

Facility was falling down. Broken plaster looks like a sewer pool is filled with debris.

It’s on the boardwalk. The blond lady serving the breakfast and the breakfast itself were the highlights.

It was under construction and absolutely horrendous conditions. The lobby, elevator and hallway conditions were deplorable. Floors coming up, holes in ceilings, stains on carpets and ceilings, rain water coming in through hallway windows… Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!

The room was not up to par the remodel the hotel but it was still dirty a lot of broken curtains broken things in the room the shower area was not well kept the room was not very clean

We wanted our money back . AC were not working we were with 7 mint old and inside was like 90 degrees. We were stuck in elevator. We would like to get our money back it was not a good experience.

Someone broke my car window and other people's car windows at parking garage. The staff was super rude and not professional at all. Also the refrigerator in my room was broken so I had water all over the floor, when I talk to the lady at the front desk she told me to MOP the floor with a towel and to wait for the refrigerators ice to melt and dry the floor myself. I went for a family vacation not to mop hotel rooms and fix refrigerators 😕 The only thing I like is the view , breakfast it's not too bad but not what I was expecting . ⛔️No they don't take responsibility for broken windows, lost, or stolen items even though parking its paid separate from room reservations
