I was charged twice for this visit. Booking.com tells me to contact Red Roof Inn. Then Red Roof Inn tells me to contact Booking.com. I have been dealing with this for more than a month! Do not pay Booking.com Wait and pay at arrival.

Smoke filled room from previous guests

The room (118) was acceptably clean however the stench and moldy smell was intolerable. I had to leave and book another room in another hotel.

Easy Check in. Although it was odd when the clerk said "It looks like we have a room available." I would've hoped so since I booked the room 2 month ago.

It looks like they put new furniture and flooring in, but that was it. Walls were really dirty and the bathroom was pretty gross. Once flushed to toilet ran continuously. The tank would not refill no matter what I did to the flapper seal. Good thing nobody in my family had to go #2. The new beds were comfortable, but the cleanliness of the room kind of counteracted that. The room also smelled like somebody had smoked in there constantly for years.

The owner-manager is dishonest.

The room was quiet, and the air conditioning worked well. Water pressure was good, and plenty of drawer and hanger space. Beds were comfortable. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was no breakfast. There were also no coffee cups in the room. There were coffee cups in the lobby, but only decaf coffee and tea water available. Also, the location is labeled as “Purdue”, but it is on the other side of Lafayette.

it was very run down and dirty. plaster flaking off the walls, rusty faucet in the tub. semi patched holes in the walls, dead bugs in drawers , someone’s black hair was all over the floor and furniture, cob webs along the corners and ceiling lights.

There was no breakfast. I have gotten incredible breakfast at hotels with much reasonable rate.

The facility was advertised as smoke free. However, our room did not just have cigarette odor, but it hits you like a wave each time you open the door to the room. I complained the very first moment we stepped into the room and requested another room. The lady at the front desk said no room was available. I requested her to come up to the room to experience my complaint, and she did not show up. We had no choice but to sleep in the room as we had just a few hours to catch some sleep before leaving for the graduation that brought us to town. On return after being away all day, and opening the door, the cigarette smoke was massive and overwhelming, as if the room was used for smoking party. This time, we were able to get a gentleman at the front desk come up to the room. He was shocked at how overbearing the odor was and immediately changed our room. This was not a passive smoke of some renter. It was sustained smoking of perhaps a group of people over a long period of time. It clung to every part of the room, the bed, the window curtains, and even on our clothe a few days after we left the hotel. There were cigarette butts thrown about on different areas of the floor.
