Basically slept there, showered then left the next morning.

Towel racks falling of the wall. Carpet rippled and dirty spots, no ironing board, ceiling vent above the bed rattled all night, cleaning service knocked on our door @ 9:30 am to see if we checked out yet! We didn’t Arrive until 11pm the night before due to our flight arriving 4 hrs late.

Online was bad advertising. Place is great, but not for me ever again.

The suite was not bad. Had everything i needed.

First of all, online picture made it look like you would get beach access and near the beach. So i fell like its false advertising. When checking in, it took so long. Theres was a line going all the way out. Took 1hr to check in. Which it didn't bother me but find out we have to drive almost 15min to a gated area from which we check in and to swim in the pool. We have to drive back 15 min to the check in area to swim. The room was nice but theres was a few big ass dead roaches in the room. I was there on a fishing trip and find out we couldnt do any fishing inside the gated area. Its good if you love golf. Basically your backyard was a golf course running through it.

We made the best out of what we had.

The resort grounds itself was beautiful.

The bathroom was filthy. The shower was never cleaned. It has someone else's hair wrapped around the nozzle and on the sides of the shower. I hunted down the housekeeper because the phone did not work. She "cleaned" the shower and left some hair for us. The toilet handle was stuck so we had to take the back off and manually flush. The second day I asked the housekeeper to please call maintenance since again we dis not have a phone. The TV had 3 remotes and took a minimum 5 minutes to turn on after you figure out which remote does what. The area does not have any food served after 9 pm unless you go to the broke down pub and they only serve fried food after 9pm.

everytime we have been in the Summer house (3), the floors have been dirty. We sweep up a dust pan full upon entry. Pool was nasty.

Litchfield Golf & Beach Resort

The central location in Pawley's Island and Myrtle Beach area. The pool area and related water features are amazing, especially for families with children. The site and grounds are well maintained. We had a nice room in the SummerHouse Bldg. There, however, we're a few issues addressed below.

I sent an email to the Litchfield Team with photos of the deteriation at the base and bottom of the shower door, mold and/or erosion of some on the outside handel of the sliding glass door handel. Also, the bathroom mirror was not clean, and there was no soap in the shower or at the bathroom sink. There were also no hangers in the closet. The bed was not the quietest. This would have been our fourth time staying at the Litchfield properties, we had a problem once before at the southern property towards Georgetown and ended up staying at the Hampton Inn across the highway from where we stayed on this trip. We didn't ask for a refund or adjustment due to issues mentioned above, but feel some kind of an adjustment is warranted. We like the property and would stay there again, but they can certainly do better as we have had two wonderful stays there previously. I have four pics, but I could only attach one.

Fun in the sun for an affordable price.

The convenience of the beach and swimming facilities.

There was spiderwebs in the vents about the stove. Walk in shower and tub wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. Found old socks of a previous tenant in chair in the bedroom. Food in the cushions of the chair in the living room.

I would probably not stay here again, there are other hotels in Litchfield that we prefer more.

The accessibility to the beach.

The cleanliness of our room. There was someone living in their car in the building we stayed in. We booked a double queen one bedroom with a pullout and when we opened the pullout a pair of dirty womens underwear came out. An obvious sign that the room had not been fully cleaned. We asked to move room, and we were given a clean room, however; the couch did not have a pull out so my teenagers had to BOTH sleep on the couch together. Needless to say they were miserable and slept awful. I did contact the property regarding our experience.

It's not on the beach. In fact you have to drive 3 miles and then find public parking access. We had to drive 7 miles to use the pool. There were bugs in the room. The sheets were dirty and had old blood stains on them. The lights flicker off and on. They have charged my credit card $669.24 to pay for the room even though I had already paid through booking. Com. I'm still trying to get the last charge off. It was and continues to be a nightmare!

The villas or beautiful.

We had to change rooms. The next day they were supposed to call us and let us know when to exchange rooms. We never got a call and the maid was clean and I room when we came back from breakfast and threw our stuff away. We did not get into our room until five. The manager is supposed to give us a refund.

I would have preferred a worry free vacation

The facility was nice and comfortable.

The tv was difficult to set up. So when we asked for help to send a recognition , they forgot about us. So when we asked a second time he came right away. So we only had a tv for one hour our entire stay. Also I still do not know if they are charging me twice. I'm waiting to hear from them as they said they have it under review. That was the last that they told me as I was checking out.

Aweful!

Bed was sunken in the middle. Cabinet for your clothes was broken & supplied no hangers for the clothes. Door barely locked. Ridicules tv! No chambermaid cleaning & towels were so crabby. Tried calling main desk, but was on hold forever and gave up.

nice location

tv and internet did not work when we arrived call front desk and they sent maintenance to my room. Gentleman was unable to fix television, could not access the router for the Internet, because it was in the room adjacent to ours. Woman at the front desk said she could move us to a different room with no problem they have plenty of rooms. I told her we would move the following morning as we were tired from our long drive. The next morning got up early went to the front desk encountered an older woman working the desk informed her of what I was doing. She looked at me like I was crazy said that they had no rooms. I couldn’t move in to a different room and she would send someone up to fix the problem went back to my room, waited and waited, called the front desk to find out where maintenance was as we were hungry and wanted to go have breakfast while I was waiting I looked on the booking site and I booked my room and noted there were plenty of rooms at the facility when I called to check to see where maintenance was was told she didn’t know she put the order in and wasn’t sure when they would get to our room explain to her we were hungry and would like to leave and she said she didn’t know what to tell me they put the order in and that’s all she could. Do. I also informed her I looked on the booking site and saw they did have other rooms which it what time she said no ma’am we do not. VERY RUDE!!!! maintenance finally showed up replace the television and was able to access the room next-door and fix the network problem. He was nice.

the room was amazing but the night staff on our second night ruined our entire trip.

the room size was great!

No comforters on our beds only thin sheets. requested comforts multiple times and only received 1 on the first night and 1 thin sheet on our last night. night staff on our first night was very helpful but the second night when we called for a comforter, the night staff was VERY RUDE. called multiple times for 30 minutes before someone finally answered just to be told no comforters and to get it ourselves in the morning if we needed it that bad.

Wonderful stay

This place was STUNNING! The staff were so friendly,the room was decorated so cute and so spacious. The breakfast bar was delicious and worth every bit of the $12.99 ! If I ever need to stay in the area again I'll be back!

The bath tub was a little dirty like it hadn't been clean. The shower head sprayed a bit wild

Disappointing

The villa on the golf course was dated and I could not open either of the doors to the back patio. I thought I was in walking distance from my conference which was on the Litchfield property at Coastal Dish and the Francis Marion rooms but I was an 8 minute drive away.
