Surprise $50 deposit for a filthy motel, the stairwell smelled of piss, vomit in my carpet, found roaches in my room, and didn’t get my deposit back after leaving the room as clean as it was upon arrival

It was close to where I was going.

Weed smell through the halls. Having babies in the office. Double booking rooms and the pictures didn't match what they were selling.

They didn’t even take our booking. we booked it online through booking.com for the 1/1/23. got there at 2am when bars closed and they just completely turned us away. They said we booked it with the wrong time frame? But they wouldn’t accommodate us at all even though they had rooms available. Didn’t even try. Didn’t care. So we went to the Marriott and got a room on the spot. Y’all go anywhere else but here…

Bed was comfy.

When we arrived late that night thetwo receptionists spent at least a half an hour going over the books. We had been traveling all day and when my wife asked if they could check us in, one of the receptionists snapped back and said they were short in their books. We were very disappointed. She could have checked us in and then went back to solve their billing problem. The next big problem, at no blame to to the hotel, was there was a water main break the next day and we had no water at all when we woke up.

The price.

Everything. The halls and rooms stink. It’s very run down and needs to be updated. We were in a non-smoke but the building smells like cigarettes and weed. We woke up to the smell of smoke lingering in our room. Online and the front desk says no pets but multiple people had dogs and our neighbors had puppies which was upsetting because I am allergic and is why I stay at hotels that have a no pet policy. The room is very outdated. Half of the entry doors don’t work. The door to the room is basically a closet door and seems like if u kicked it then it would fall down easily. Our room’s door continued to jam and we had to give extra pressure for it to close. Overall it was very unsafe and scary to stay in. $90 is a good price but this hotel wasn’t worth $10. Very upsetting since we were from out of town for my friend’s birthday. Also, the photos are nothing like the actual hotel. It is very much false advertising.

Staff was great, Room was super nice and worth the money spent! However, the balcony was barely a foot wide LOL we laughed!

Room was nice and bed was comfortable. The staff when I checked in were very pleasant.

The power went out while I was out and while I'm aware this is out of the hotels, it would've been beneficial to at least offer some compensation for this inconvenience. Along with that, there were cockroaches in the stair well, and if there's two, there's always more.

It was roach infested, the TV didn't work, I pi ked up the phone to call the front desk and that wasn't working either, and the front door was falling off. SERIOUSLY SPEAKING. It was a dump.
