Dirty with a chance of ahole manager

They were there

Dirty everything and TV didn't work at all room 100. Bedding was dirty towels were horrible trash in trashcan from prior renters and the manager banged on the door at 1040 SCREAMING for us to get out checkout is at 11.

We didn't have time to partake in the Breakfast. We had to get to a meeting.

The beds were comfortable

The rooms curtains were DISGUSTING. There was a stain all over them. The bathroom shower curtain had mold on it so showering smelled like I was shower in mold. The back entry way all the way up to 3rd floor stunk of Marijuana like it's not monitored.

Close to everything, but bad breakfast.

Not breakfast. Only 2 cold cereal options, bananas, apples and nutty buddies. Very disappointed.

No hot breakfast, the room was not well lit.

Nice location, easy to get to the places I needed to go to. It was clean, and comfy, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Staff was nice but wouldn't recommend

The location.

The breakfast. It wasn't as described. It was cereal, a small honey bun, a piece of fruit, or a nutty bar. The beds. They weren't comfortable at all. Also all the boards under the bed had duct tape on them. We had a roach crawling up the wall. We didn't use the shower/bathtub the whole time we were there. (3nights, we had to shower at families house) It had other people's hair all on the shower curtain and back board of the shower. Also it looked like other people's shower/soap scum was left all in the tub.

Nothing!

Nothing! The room smelled, the air conditioner filter needs to be changed. I received dingy wash clothes. The curtain had some sort of stain on it. The rug is in need of cleaning. There were drug deals happening in the hallway. I was woke up this morning by arguing from the room next to ours. The continental breakfast was horrible, no decaf coffee, one apple. The attitude of the woman who check me out was horrible. She never asked how are stay was or if we were rewards members. I want a refund for this stay.

The beds were very raggedy. It needs a paint job. The hallway smells in the room, smell of mildew.

nothing, I’ve stated this property for the past 30 years and I have watched it disintegrate. it used to be a nice clean place to stay for a reasonable price. The prices were plated for the graduation weekend. It was not worth $160 that I spent but I had to attend a funeral. The room smelled of mildew and I had to ask someone to come in with air freshener. I paid an upgrade fee on Booking.com for a sitting area. The upgrade in the sitting area was nothing but a chair in the corner, I really hated to stay at this place, but there was no other rooms available in town. I will try to stay here is less as possible. This is a dire emergency, which this was.

overall it was well worth the money and would stay here again!

convenient location to Walmart and restaurants it’s nice and clean, staff was very friendly

the hallways smelled like something rotten but the lobby and rooms didn’t, the beds for me was way to soft, and the “breakfast” is just cereal apple, banana, mini honey buns, and nutty butter bars, I had to ask several time for towels and needed up having to go to housekeeping door to get them.

nice place for a 1-2 day stay, friendly staff and cozy environment. could use updating but worth the price.

vending machines were well stocked, staff was friendly. clean property overall.

bed had a rather large dip/ crater in it making it hard to get to sleep. the hotel didn’t supply conditioner, instead they gave a “conditioning shampoo”

The room and the entrance were clean and the staff were nice and easy to deal with.

The bathroom had some issues. It needed a few repairs. The bathroom vanity had some large chips in it and the sink is stained. There were some grout issues around the tub as well. The room took literally all night to cool down, it was very hot.

Okay for an overnight

It was homecoming weekend at Southern Illinois University, so I suspect there was quite a bit of demand for hotel rooms. The Super 8 seemed to be the best deal for the price at that moment. The hotel was well located for my purposes.

I had read a review about the breakfast, so I wasn't really surprised. On offer were two cold cereals with milk, bananas and apples, Honey Buns and one other pre-packaged item (brownies perhaps?), coffee, and that was that. The juice machine was broken. The bathroom was well worn, and the stopper for the sink was missing. But the hot water was hot, and the drains worked, and I can't say that is true of everywhere I stay.

Not worth the price!

Big room

"Breakfast was the most pitiful I have ever seen in a motel. Room is not handicap accessible. ( stairs in hall! )No grab rails in bathroom .freezer in mini fridge does not work. Price is very high for level of quality.
