Location

Staff did not have the room type that I requested. Upgraded to a better room but door would not open. Moved me to a different room. In the night, I was awaken by knocking at the door. It was the night staff wondering if the room was rented. The door didn't have a safety lock and the staff had attempted to open the door with the master key card just when I opened. Room was not very clean.

Off the interstate and comfy for overnight stay

Had to check out at 11am. Noon would have been better.

The place was a mess, very dirty and smell really bad

Old trash everywhere, room was not clean and it smelled bad

There was an issue during my check in. I called to inform the hotel I'd be checking in late around 1 am as I was driving from Seattle to Louisiana the woman who answered the front desk told me my room might not be available because they only had 2 at that price and the person who was currently occupied it may extend their stay. I said ok but I had already prepaid for the room for 3 days and would there be a different room available at the same price since I had already paid she told me I was a liar and they took no prepayment from me I said I had the option to pay through booking and that the funds had already been removed from my account she again told me I was a liar and that it was not possible for me to have paid and that even if I had if that room wasn't available I would have to pay more for a different room. I said you're telling me that even though I prepaid so I could be guaranteed a room for 3 days that it didn't matter if the guest was still in there is have to pay more for another room. Then after she got tired of talking to me for less than 5 minutes she told me she was no longer going to speak to me hung up on me and wouldn't answer the phone when I were booking called back to find out what was going on luckily I was able to speak with I believe the owner or the manager the next day and it wasn't an issue but to have be told that after driving 3,000 miles and prepaying for room I might not be able to have one and I didn't have extra money to pay for a more expensive room that's why I prepaid is very frustrating I've never been called a liar by someone I've never met before like that

Bed was a bit hard and found a roach in the refrigerator and another in the bathroom.

They moved our room 3 different times, each time it got progressively worse with more bugs crawling throughout the room and stains on the sheets. When we went to request a refund, the owner began to yell at us and tell us that checking the bed for bed bugs (which were present) was inappropriate and they accused us of throwing towels on the floor.

I didn't like anything about this location.

I was initially told the room would cost $171 when I booked it. I get to the location and had to pay over $200. I chose this location because it was dog friendly, they charged me an extra $40 for my dogs, cool since it was the reason I opted for this location in the first place. The problem is, I pay over $200 to spend the weekend at what looked like a dump site. Trash everywhere, kids playing outside in the parking lot unattended, go into the room, it stinks to high haven, the floor looked like it had not been mopped in decades, the coffee pot had a used coffee filter in it, the shower floor was slimy I had to wear shower slipper to take a shower, the floor had what looked liked drops of period blood on it, the ice box and microwave were dirty, and the room was hot. I never saw a housekeeper, I checked out of the room earlier than I was supposed to because I couldn't get towels to take a shower, I had to drive 30 min out of my way to take a shower at my sister's house. I was there for two days and not one time did I get my room serviced.
