Clean and Spacious

Clean and comfortable stay which included breakfast. Fantastic proximity to downtown, but still fairly quiet atmosphere. The room and bathroom felt spacious - plenty of room for two people.

Nicht buchen wenn sie einen Parkplatz benötigen!!!

Die Lage, nahe dem Zentrum ist sehr komfortabel wenn man vor hat die Innenstadt zu erkunden.

Durch die zentrale Nähe kann das Hotel dem versprechen eines inkludierten Parkplatzes nicht nachkommen. Die Parkplätze sind öffentlich, daher werden den Gästen keine Parkplätze freigehalten bzw. garantiert. Absolutes NoGo! Auf Nachfrage in der Lobby wo ich nun parken kann, sagte mir ein Mitarbeiter, dass hinter dem Haus auch noch Parkspace ist. Dort stand dann ein Schild "Day Fee 20$" Ich fragte also nach wieso ich jetzt 20 Dollar zahlen müsste. Der Mitarbeiter schaute verwundert und es schien als wenn sie gar nicht wüssten, dass dort irgwndwelche Menschen ein Schild aufgestellt haben und nun kassieren. Der Mitarbeiter sprach mit den Leuten und diese sagten "Nein, Hotelgäste lassen wir natürlich so durch" Alles sehr suspekt, da es auch keine Tickets fürs Windshield oder ähnliches gab. Danach bestätigte er mir, dass es in all den Jahren in denen er dort arbeitete noch nie einen Abschleppwagen auf dem Gelände gab, was bedeutet, dass dort echt jeder ungestraft parken kann und auch die Typen mit den Klappstühlen nur wegen dem Stadtfest dort saßen. Unfassbarer Abzug gegenüber Gästen meiner Meinung. Der Service ist ebenfalls ein Alptraum. Heute Nacht sind jugendliche im Hotel untergebracht, schreien herum und es klingt als würden sie randalieren (Türen knallen ununterbrochen). Niemand unternimmt etwas und an Schlaf ist nicht zu denken. Die Zimmer sind ok, aber für den Preis und den Standard wofür Best Western PLUS steht, sind diese definitiv nicht sauber genug. Unsere Kopfkissen haben Flecken und riechen muffig. Das Wasser im Hotel hat diesen muffigen Geruch. Wir haben bereits günstigere und namenlose Hotels gehabt, welche um längen besser waren. Dieses Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen. Schade für die Kette, schade für den eigentlich guten Namen!

would look into another location next concert

location close to NH Pavillion

registered, got key to room,, on way up front desk clerk stopped us, she gave us a keys to an occupied room, we would have walked into a room already booked. on way home from concert, parking was tight, they share space with walgreens and we had to park on their side, hoping to not be towed next morning

It was okay, I wouldn't stay here again though.

I appreciated having a fridge in the room. The room was also nice and quiet at night, which was greatly appreciated. The check out process was smooth and effortless as well.

The breakfast was fine, if a little small and didn't have all the stations set up. Our room had candy wrappers left in it, so een though the beds looked clean we were a little unsure of how clean everything was given that the wrappers were left. The lock on the door, which the swing lock from the frame attaches to, was not secure and three of the five screws were either loose or missing, so I didn't feel very secure when I locked the door.

great stay

The room was great and the view of the river was even better. after a long day of off-roading at the Bronco of rodeo it was great to relax. Ample breakfast choices too

Breakfast was mediocre. Location was ok.

No vending machine for snacks and soda vending machine only had a couple of drinks in it. Cracks in the ceiling of our bathroom. Dumpster removal was done at 2 a.m. and it was right outside our window.

Not much, I tried to stay out of the hotel as much as possible. I couldn’t get a refund since I had booked through booking.com. Never will I make that mistake again!

The bathroom was filthy, the shower and glass surround had not been cleaned. Hair and debris on shower floor. Bedding was wrinkled and I assumed by the cleanliness of the bathroom they probably didn’t change the sheets, room had a string perfume smell. The air in the hotel was stuffy, couldn’t open a window. The front desk clerk tried to charge me after it was already paid through booking.com and I had to prove it by going back through MasterCard records to show I was already charged for the room. The room was $600 a night for bike week. What a rip off!

Great location, good room, breakfast needs improvement.

location room was spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast was very limited. one day a big crew ate nearly everything before 7:30-8am. waffle maker timer didn’t work. Only sugar free option was Chex cereal. Worker said no one ever asked before. Bananas were old, on 2nd day the same remaining black one was still there. Staff does not always answer phone as they are sitting at long table in lobby instead of at desk.

Visiting the lakes

Hotel is on the River great location in the center of Laconia. You can park your car and walk.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels through the years. The one downfall this location has is how much you can hear people in the hallway and in the next room. I was very surprised

Nice hotel, rude staff

The room was very nice!

The staff were incredibly rude. This one woman informed me I couldn't take the breakfast back to my room- even though I had seen multiple people doing it before & there was no signs or policies saying I couldn't. Then when I checked out, I handed her my key card and she looked at me disgustingly & said "do you need anything else or what" and I was like nope and left. Hotel was nice but not the staff. The house keeper repeatedly knocked on the door as well.
