Our stay was exactly what we needed.

Breakfast was delicious and location was a 5 min drive to the metro to get into downtown DC

Everything was fantastic, comfortable and up to par. The only thing that maybe could have improved would have been a smart tv/streaming capability but even not having that was fine

Loved everything about the property. It was beautiful and Donna was lovely and gracious.

EVERYTHING was amazing. Donna went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. She made us a delicious honeymoon breakfast and suggested a lovely place for dinner. She even called us from the store to make sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be back!

Nothing except leaving! Wish we could have stayed longer! It was a fantastic experience!

The absolute best option for visiting downtown historic Fairfax City.

I booked a room at Stafford House three hours before I was to arrive. I called ahead after receiving booking.com confirmation and the owner was friendly, ready and met me at the door when I showed up. The room and bathroom exceeded my expectations: Lovely vintage furniture, clawfoot tub, giant shower, beautiful decor and lighting. The breakfast was also bigger and better than I expected, and delivered to my room at the hour I requested. I could not have been more happy with my experience. This property is walking distance to the main thoroughfare of historic downtown Fairfax. My room did face the street and I could hear some traffic noise, but it died down as the evening progressed and did not bother me at all.

Beautiful and peaceful.....

The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Donna's banana nut muffins were absoutely amazing. A true Bed & Breakfast with expectional beauty. I would recommend it to friends. Also, would stay again.

Bed pillows could have been better. Aside from that I have no compliants, wished my schedule would have allowed me to stay longer.

Beautiful room and excellent service

Our room was very spacious, clean, and beautiful. The house's location is excellent in relation to Washington, DC. The host, Donna, was very nice and virtuous. Her service was excellent.

we went to a concert at Juffy Lube Live and I found this great B&B to stay. it was only a half hour drive and it was

Superb

We loved the room, especially the comfortable bed, the more modern bathroom, and the breakfast table. Our host Donna is amazing! And breakfasts were wonderful, delivered to the room exactly when we requested! We just loved the comfort and all the personal touches.

Probably best to have a rental car, which we didn't. While walking to downtown Fairfax is a breeze, getting into DC is straightforward but quite long (bus to the orange line into DC).

The perfect escape and way to avoid a drive from DC to near Winchester after a long pleasant day.

Breakfast "out" has always been a fun treat for us and Donna's creation was super. The decoration and renovations to an older home have made it comfortable, attractive and the perfect mix of modern and historical.

The proximity to Washington DC was convenient. The accommodations were exceptional, cozy, and romantic. Probably one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. The Jacuzzi and bathroom were next level. The breakfast each morning was incredible. Overall, a very memorable stay. I would go back in a heartbeat.

A very minor thing, but some of the light switches were a little confusing. The one overhead light would come on and off at random times when we had the switch on, and we never did find the light for over the bed.

Charming Bed & Breakfast

Amazing breakfast in bed every morning! Donna is an amazing cook and everything was so delicious. The bed was so comfortable you didn’t want to get out of it. Highly recommend as it also is a quiet serene place to stay.
