Lovely hosts and a beautiful location !

The B&B exceeded expectations. Wish we could have stayed here longer and may come back to stay in the future. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Views out the front our beautiful and hosts are very welcoming.

We are still a bit speechless - it is so beautiful here. Kurt and Kana are wonderful hosts, their B&B is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Even more, Kana makes an incredibly delicious breakfast and the coffee is outstanding. If vacationing on Big Isalnd, then only with Kurt and Family: thank you very much, we enjoyed our stay.
And don't forget, listen to Kurt's excursion tips.

Beautiful views, amazing, friendly hosts, and wonderful homemade breakfasts with fresh ingredients.
Tight driveway, but good directions.

Everything was super nice!
The location, the views, the peace, the breakfast, the security, cleanliness, etc
The breakfast was delicious, but we missed the bacon, sausage or ham.

Kurt and Kana are amazing hosts who are happy to share their knowledge of the island. They are gracious and thoughtful- we had to leave early our last day and they set us up with coffee and banana bread. Would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful place and very good breakfast!
A very short steep road to get there

Friendly friendly and so helpful.
Coming in at night for the first time. Was four hours late because of plane delays consequently driving at night , hard at my age.

Breathtaking views of the Pacific. Big porch to hang out. Wonderful breakfast. Helpful, friendly owners and a Hawaiian dance performance as a bonus, because we did not have the best weather.
The poor goldfish. Set it free or give it a decent size aquarium.

I love the gorgeous sunset and the beautiful view in the back patio
Driving there so try to get there during daylight so you don't feel lost in the dark. However after you get throw the drive once it's a lot easier to do it the second even in the dark.

"Crow's Nest" room was great--only room on the top floor, with a private lanai. The view is mesmerizing.
The hosts were fantastic--Kurt is a fountain of knowledge, friendly and very interesting.
The breakfasts were delicious, but small. Fruits grown on the farm were featured.
The pleasure of no car noise, or noisy neighbors was a great experience. The serenity is awesome.
Snorkeling at 2-step and kayaking at Kealakakua Bay are just minutes away.
The last 1/2 mile of the road approaching the B&B is a bit scary, but you get used to it.
There are no cooking facilities for guests, although the microwave was available. We would have enjoyed grilling fresh tuna from the local market.

Exceptional views of the sea & fabulous sunsets from the lanai, two wonderful hosts--Kirk & Kana. Great breakfasts with fresh, tropical fruits & pancakes or homemade banana bread. After negotiating the drive down the narrow drive to the Edge, at night--a little scared, afterwards, I rather enjoyed the steep, curvy descent to the Edge.
Kurt & Kana are knowledgeable & able to make suggestions for how best to see what is near-by in Captain Cook. I wanted to stay there again the next trip, but they didn't have a room available for all the nights I am going to be there--Kurt gave me some alternate suggestions where to stay in Captain Cook.
I feel like I have two good friends in Captain Cook at The Edge.
It could not have been better-everything wonderful--surrounded by Macademia nut forests, coffee plants & other flowering, tropical, botanical wonders. Wild chickens were wandering about. The feral pigs came in the last night making lots of noise. In the morning I could see where they had rooted up the soil around the plants.

View is amazing. Breakfast was a wonderful assortment of foods grown on the property. Coffee is just perfect (I've never had home grown coffee before). The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the Lanai in the evenings. Beautiful views and natural surroundings.
Nothing to note. Everything was great for us.

Kurt and Kana were delightful. Very helpful & informative. We really enjoyed the tour Kurt gave us of his property. Just so informative and enjoyable.
Breakfasts and views were spectacular. There own organically grown coffee is exceptional. We took three pounds home. This is a great place to stay and next time we come to the Big Island we will stay there again. Can't see anyone not enjoying a stay here. Highly recommended.
Nothing!!

Fabulous covered deck where the whole family could eat and hang out - rain or shine. We ended up getting carry out every night for dinner and eating on the deck because it was so comfortable and the view was beautiful.
Wonderful breakfasts with loads of fresh fruit. Beach chairs, towels, sunscreen provided!
We had the run of the entire upstairs of the house so it was just perfect.

Everything. The accommodations, hosting, breakfasts, location, activities… All of it
I have a fragrance allergy, and our hosts were so generous and accommodating my sensitivities
