Great location with historic charm.

Great location and had a wonderful historical charm. The decor and tall ceilings were beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The room rate included breakfast, which was made to order and served in the attached Kings Tavern Cafe.

There were small renovations being done and the smell of paint and rolled up rugs, etc. were just outside of our room and in the corridor. There were loud scraping sounds early in the morning from the construction and we had to maneuver around the worker and their ladder and things. I wish the hotel would provide a small refrigerator in the room.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast

The location of this inn is superb, right in the middle of the city. Ample parking in city parking garage at very reasonable rates behind the inn. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

It needs some renovation, especially at the public part, old dirty carpet on the stairs. Curtains could be better, a lot of light in the room (number 8)

Good value for location - would return for same price

The price was great for the location and the included breakfast. The room was comfortable enough but we spent most of our time out in the town.

As other reviews have stated, the rooms are a bit dated and the cleanliness could be improved (e.g. old ketchup bottle under the bed with a rolled up rug). The booking.com advertisement states free parking but this was not actually an option. Luckily, there is a parking garage behind the hotel that is quite cheap.

This was a short business trip. Hotel was in a great location and offered nice breakfasts and coffee

Unfortunately, I did not have breakfast, but from what I saw others eating, it looked VERY good!

No real complaints. Maybe a firmer mattress.

Staff was great. Bar underneath was great. Breakfast was great. We even forgot some things at the bar late night and the next morning they were bagged and saved for us at breakfast.

Casual, Comfortable.

Small, quaint, felt like "family" upon entering, staff was SUPER accomodating, breakfast was the BEST chipped beef I've ever had and the omelet was ENORMOUS!

I was un aware of where to park(in the parking garage behind the building), and it took a few tries calling before someone picked up. Would encourage parking suggestions to be added to booking info/email.

It had character, the bar and restaurant were convenient, the value and location were great.

Great two days spent in historic Leesburg visiting 3 different farms while shopping for horses.

Loved the location and the conveniences of being right in town. The public parking lot was a hike but not a bad one. The breakfast that was included was a bonus. The amenities were perfect

It is what it is.

The staff is so friendly. Check-in went smooth and the people are very nice here. The location of the property is in the heart of Leesburg and makes it convenient to walk to the restaurants and shoppes.

The walls are paper thin. You can hear every little movement that others make. We stayed in room 4 which is right on the street. When the bars close up you can hear every drunkin fool that stumbles up the street. The bed was super uncomfortable and the room was in need of cleaning and updating.

Location is great. I just expected more from the "Colonial Inn". Not enough space in the room.

The room needs to be arranged in a way that let's you walk around the bed with ease.

Quaint

Cute and quaint! Rooms are above restaurant. Hardwood floor are very squeaky but it was part of the charm. Centrally located in town with easy walking to many shops, restaurants and taverns. Try the Green Tree Tavern...a bit $ but worth eat. (Cuban sammich to seasonal salad with blueberry vinaigrette) Location was perfect for the Harry Potter Experience!

The bed....comfy but needs to be flipped.

The property was very nice and was around everything. close to parking and local food was right next door

They overbooked our room or something because me and my son ended up in a smaller room with only one bed. we were given an air mattress but it was still inconvenient

Nice place, well priced, but noisy.

Historic building and location. Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable.

Room was directly above the bar and outside dining was one floor below the window - and both were extremely noisy late into the night.

Convenient to Old Town Leesburg. Bar open till 2 on a Wednesday! Staff was awesome and friendly.

Great night in Leesburg with a cozy stay at the Colonial Inn

The location is excellent, right in the center of Leesburg. Our room was well appointed with some interesting quirks that you'd expect from a historic building. At the end of our night it was great to only have to walk a couple blocks back to our hotel and the staff was excellent.

There seemed to be some sort of breakdown between Booking and the hotel as our reservation wasn't on file. That being said the staff was very accommodating and they did have a room for us, so it wasn't a problem.
