Not worth the price

Nothing but the price

They tried to give us a smoking room when I reserved a non smoking room. I asked about early check in they claimed I didn't request that and that wasn't an option, therefore I had to wait around for about 4.5 hours to check in. The bed was very uncomfortable and apparently the designated smoking area is right at the front door.

It was good other then having to walk in the hallway and smell pot

No breakfast had to ask about coffee

The place smelled like pot and there was small children there. I think they need to try and do something about it some people do not like the smell of it or have their children around it. The pool was closed all weekend.

This place is a trap house drugs non stop traffic heated pool Ice old !! First room was not cleaned second room didn't have microwave! I got charged way to much money to be miserable and woke up every 2 hours because of the ppl across the hall !! WILL NEVER RETURN

Exceptional

The staff was excellent, the room was clean, the place was quiet, and the place was comfortable. For a budget motel this was really a nice place to stay. Everything was clean and the facilities were nice. It is spartan, but if you're looking for something under $100 that's comfortable it works.

Both my vehicles had gas siphoned out of them. Park with your gas tank facing the hotel and under a light. I made the mistake of parking far away from the room and with my gas tank away from the hotel.

it was quiet for the most part.

late night people were outside blaring music. had people just hanging outside making obvious drug deals. They didn’t bother me or my S/O. just did their thing. staff was friendly.

Dirty room. No breakfast or even coffee.. hot tub doesn't exist!

Location was convenient .

Well advertised to have a hot tub. Did at one time was filled with cement on my trip! Your bare feet stuck to the floors in my room, disgusting.

Will never stay at a Motel 6 again

We ended up staying at Cobblestone down the road because we sat in the lobby for 45 minutes and never saw anybody so we just left and went down and bought a room somewhere else. And this was at the Laporte Road location in Waterloo Iowa

Bad

Lady at front desk was not very friendly and her appearance was dirty. A dog was barking all night. People arguing. Got woke up at 630 with a couple fighting. Hotel smelled dirty. Parking was bad. Tub wouldn't drain while showering. Some of lights wouldnt work. Just really aggravated with the entire stay. Would not recommend.

The way the night shift clerk handle us. When booking.com lost our reservation. He even given us cheaper than booking.com rates. I would rate him 10. He was very helpful.

No frills. would stay again.

Very spacious room. The bathroom was clean, the sheets were clean, and the appliances all worked. TV is great. AC kept the room ice cold just how we like it. Staff was pleasant. Bed was more comfortable than I expected. Water pressure was above average.

For sure a smoking room, but since it’s not carpeted it wasn’t too bad. It’s an old building with quirky fixtures and strange electrical set ups (two sinks, right next to each other outside the bathroom, can’t shut off the ceiling light by the door without also turning off the power to the wall behind the bed). Holes in the wall, stripped laminate, cigarette burns in curtains and bedspread. Outside doors and hallway a tad noise. We had a corner room on the street level right by an entry so, could have been better or worse I’m sure. Shortage of bath towels seems to still be a concern.

Not an enjoyable stay.

Room had door propped open when we arrived. Smells like smoke inside the room. Towels on top of the microwave were used. Bathroom and Furniture had wood peeling off of them. Bed frame was broke and bed itself slices in them from a knife. Got up the next morning and found caterpillar in the bed. Rappers played loud music all night long outside of our window. No privacy curtains when we were on the ground floor. Slept next to my gun all night. Blood curdling scream from a child late at night twice.

PThe outside of the coffee holders were dirty. I can't imagine what the inside looked like.

Screaming lady in hall for 2 hours. When the lady screamed the coon hound blended in.
