Was the cheapest one available and was worse than expected. Not worth its price at all.

Everything. Smell, no option to be in a smoke free room, homeless all around lurking looking into your car, smelled horrible of cigarettes, mildew smell in bathroom, stains everywhere.

Falling apart.

I have been coming to this EZ 8 for years, and it seems like it gets worse and worse. I reserved a non-smoking room, but I got a smoking room. The room was so dark, and the single light in the room was useless. The heater/ac worked but was so loud I couldn't use it. The bed was simply terrible with huge dips and valleys. Tiny TV, where most of the channels were so fuzzy, i could barely make out what was going on. I think this is the last time I will stay here.

Abomination of hotels

Absolutely nothing!!!

This hotel is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at. Rooms are run down, smells like like mildew, brown stains all over the wall. There is alot of prostitution activity that takes place there. Throw up was on the outside floor. Do not stay here. Also staff is extremely rude...

I liked the lady who worked at the front desk.

I did not like the train right outside the room. I did not like the needles on the floor outside, I did not like the stains on the walls inside my room. I did not like being kicked out the next day for not having a “confmired payment” although i paid $235 for 2 nights.

Won't be giving Booking.com or EZ-8 my business ever again!

That my son used my credit card without my permission to book this room for him and his girlfriend. I received a text from my credit card company and within minutes contacted booking.com explaining what happened. Booking stated that I should contact the motel asking for a refund which they refused to do. I let it go. But as a longstanding customer with as much as I've used Booking, I won't be using them anymore; nor will I be using the EZ 8 either.

Disappointing stay, we were glad it was just for one night.

Staff was nice

Bathrooms were not cleaned in the two rooms reserved. The floor was not mopped, they were slippery. Walls are not even checked for cleanliness. Ended up with one smoking room which we didn’t reserve. We were hoping for 2 non smoking rooms.

Jacob Muennich Worst person for not doing anything

I cancelled immediately since their check in was changed and the blame booking, the manager also charged me even when I cancelled trough this app. He was rude and didn’t helped, the manager Jacob Muennich totally gave me the worst experience I ever had

Location is very convenient free parking

Requested to get our room clean twice no one came although they confirmed they will get it done. The room looked filthy like it didnt get clean for year also they reused the bed sheets n blankets dirty marks and dog hairs from previous guests were all over the bed making us itchy very badly n couldnt sleep well I had to use to vacuum from my car to vacuum the bed myself since the room service never came to clean the room when I asked to get more bath towels the front desk asked me to come down n get them myself. Terrible experience also the room smelled really bad although i did get the non smoking room still smell like cigarette. Big No

Shut it down before anyone else spends their hard earned money.

Horrible place for families, elderly, women, children and men. Staff rude and horrible. Prices were ridiculous. Black mold and rusted faculties. No pool access. Poor environment. I’m never staying there again. They had the audacity to put me on a DO NO RENT LIST. I never would’ve.

The security is horrible and rude. The front desk is unprofessional and ghetto. The night shift was presumably unavailable. Car was damaged in the lot.

Disappointing

That they honored my Booking.com reservation & at the price I was charged. The A/C worked.

1) The top sheet on the bed had MULTIPLE visual stains 2) No toilet paper holder. 3) Offering an earlier check-in during the slower "off-season" - would have been more convenient. 4) Room has an overall musty/dirty/moldy smell. 5) No entry door floor ma. It was rainy during my stay and there was no way to NOT track mud into the room. 6) Water pressure was subpar/inadequate. 7) Placement of the outlets within the room were in inconvenient locations ie. half-way up the wall, behind the entry door, behind the desk. 8) No smoke detector in room.

EZ walk-across-room to plug-in-phone.

The front desk person was friendly and helpful. Was able to change to a non-smoking room that actually didn't smell like smoke and got fresh washed towels. The lamp looks great in the picture. . .

. . . Unfortunately the lamp was only in the picture. Our Non-smoking room smelled heavy of smoke, some towels had stains, lumpy pillows and no closet, or hangers to use. Useable wall outlets were sparse and not convenient. Tooth brush kit, razor and other toiletries were available for purchase from a vending machine.

I love staying here every time; hard working neighbors!

I like the way easy entrance from street to the office and also parking all around. I love the upstairs, stairs only no elevator.

I didn’t like the way there was a broken screen when I got there but thankfully the mantanaince man put the screen back on in five minutes.

Staff made it Pleasant! Kudos!

Size of room was awesome. Loved the washer and dryer. We loved being able to wash our bathing suits and towels before flying home. Loved the full fridge. Beds were comfy.

We walked from the drop off point of the airplane shuttle about 1 long block/ intersection away. Walking by the homeless with our suitcases and Louis Vuitton purses, awkward! We made it. Sketchy but affordable in a pinch. Jacuzzi and pool was a No!! Just awful. Off season anyway. Close to transportation. We ubered to beach for about $16 ..ubered downtown (awesome) $30 ea way...we stayed in best room they had. We had huge room with kitchen, fridge, washer, n dryer..2 nice beds..small older tv...but the screaming fighting neighbors was a low point. Again super sketchy, but Very Affordable for SD. Probably would not stay again. If I do it will be in that room :) Thanks to the Manager for being a Sweetie and upgrading us! Great restaurant, famous for amazing breakfast. It was!! Paying for WiFi was so archaic. Btw

The roof didnt leak, the heater worked, the window wasnt broken

They were understaffed didnt let me check in till 6 i was given there. No towels no channel changer .
