Great stay -reasonable rates

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Room & beds were comfortable and breakfast was hot and plentiful. Plenty of free parking plus easy freeway access.

Wi-fi was confusing but it was late when we checked in so didn't bother to pursue it.

Great clean and comfortable place to stay near freeway.

Excellent value! We stayed there after attending a wedding in the Lakewood area. Easy off and on the freeway. Room was clean and well appointed. The beds and pillows were some of the best we've ever had. Although near the freeway it was very quiet. The complimentary breakfast was one of the better offerings we've had in a hotel like this. I would definitely recommend this hotel if someone needs a nice clean affordable place to stay while traveling.

The shower head was a bit lame. Should have been able to adjust it.

Friendly staff.

They assigned us a room in the ground level that is dedicated to people with special needs. The room has no view and the bathroom was not comfortable to use (Showering).

Great place overall!

Staff was great, especially Robert at the Front Desk. Breakfast was very good. King Suite was beautiful and clean.

Only thing that was not exceptional was the surrounding area. There were a few sketchy people walking around.

I will give you an 80% of good experience to stay in the hotel.

Everything is going good. Facility was clean and no odor. Breakfast was amazing, coffee and tea were delicious, hot. tables were cleaned.

Room 224 had a problem with sink in the bathroom. Water was stuck in the sink. No maintenance on weekends! other hotels have a maintenance.

Like I said we will be back.

The staff were amazing. The room was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious. I came fir my husband birthday and we will be back for mine. I highly recommend this hotel. O and the jacuzzi was huge and I already miss it.

We told them at check in that we wanted.to.pay in cash. We also asked if they were going to charge our card the night front desk lady said no but they did for authorization reasons. It was right around Christmas and really messed things up for us.

Front desk staff are nice and the common areas are clean.

Front desk staff were nice and the location was convenient for what I was doing.

Cleaning staff could have shown up at least once in my 4 day stay. I had to empty my own garbage and grab a new roll of toilet paper off the cart. I stayed in the same room with my family for 7 days prior to this and had the same experience. Bare minimum for room cleaning here. Towels were just dropped off and left on the counter no cleaning and bed was made maybe twice in the 11 days I had the room and I'm pretty sure they didn't change the sheets at all. I would expect a bit more for the $2,400 Canadian I paid in total for the room for the 11 day stay. Unfortunately, there were various homeless people camped out in front of the hotel and one night were sitting on the bench outside the main doors. I felt bad for them but I don't think they should be on the property.

Overnight in Tacoma

After reading some of the reviews of hotels in Tacoma I was a little scared to stay there, luckily I stumbled on this Holiday Inn Express. It was nice, convenient, and I never felt unsafe. Rooms were nice, bed was comfy and breakfast was good.
