The bathroom sink was leaking. They had to switch out TVs because because we couldn't adjust the volume or put the TV on mute or turn the TV off. So at checkout I informed the front desk that we were still having the same issue even after the TVs were switched out and she said they probably needed to program remote to the TVs. I literally had to crawl under the table twice to unplug the TV because the remote couldn't turn it off.

Room wasn't fancy but served it's purpose

Our room was perfectly fine. The front desk staff were very friendly. The location was perfect. My son had surgery at the VA hospital, which staff was aware of, so the room was close to the elevator. It was very easy to get him in the back entrance, which was close to the lobby elevator and up to the room. Complimentary breakfast was nice, too.

The place was adequate for our stay. The rooms need sprucing up. The grout and tub were peeling, but the bathroom was clean. Only one icemaker was working. We put a do not disturb sign on the door when we left for the hospital, but it was disregarded, and the cleaning staff came in anyway. The pool area also was not very inviting. There was one lady who was part of the breakfast crew who was very rude to guests. A lady asked if there was any more pancake batter, and she totally ignored her, turned her back, and left. Now, she did refill the batter, but she could have acknowledged the guest who was left standing there without knowing if her request was heard.

Great view and location - enjoyed the property.

location was great to where we needed to be for work and free parking.

Our room was so noisy though because of the adjoining door-it was like neighbour was with us. The one night it was crying screaming kids with a cough, disastrous sleep. We tried to move but there was no where to go.

Wir waren vorher in 2 anderen La Quinta Hotels, daher können wir gut vergleichen: Stark durchgelegene Matratzen, Raum mit schlechtem Geruch, Fenster können nicht geöffnet werden, Lüftung sehr laut, Raum wurde nicht richtig vorbereitet (fehlende Handtücher, keine Becher), Frühstück ist minderwertig), W-LAN quasi nicht existent

Look for other options

The rooms have good furniture and feels comfortable

The hotel needs to invest in professional cleaning, I’ve seen a roach in the bathroom and they should provide some variety of options for breakfast for those that eat healthy. The omelette was tasteless, and the oatmeal has sugar in it at the same time the coffee was ridiculous.

We really enjoyed ourselves and would come back and recommend it to others.

I love the fact that we we’re across from the harbor and we had a window view.

It was a nice clean place the atmosphere of the staff was warm and friendly.

Location wasn’t bad. However, the room was disgustingly damped and staff was rude. We asked for another room and we’re denied so we cancelled and left. Booking.com has been absolute pathetic to work with as well.

Service by the hotel & booking.com was handled very poorly. That was first and last we will doing anything through booking.com as I haven’t even received my refund yet.

We enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was nice, friendly staff, housekeeping ladies did a great job.

Staff was friendly and it was convenient to the things we wanted to do.

The room was a non smoking room, however you could tell that people have smoked in it anyway. This isn’t the fault of the staff, so it didn’t really affect our stay

Perfect Location

La Quinta is perfectly placed for visiting downtown Charleston. The room was large enough with 2 double beds. It has plenty of free parking.

I will never recommend La Quinta By Wyndham to anyone,

Staff were pleasant and approachable. Parking was good, facility was easily accessible.

Service was poor, no housekeeping only after 3 DAYS, No TOWELS, even though I placed the used towels outside the door at 7AM, Had to go to Reception at 10.00 PM to get towels.

It was a perfect weekend with my fiance and the lodging is part of the reason.

The room had two full bathrooms and a separate living room with furniture that was very comfortable. The bedroom was spacious and separate from the living room.

The location was very scenic and I definitely cannot complain. The only thing that would have been more convenient would be a location closer to downtown but I realize the rate would probably have been higher to reflect that so this is really not even a complaint per se.

The room is dated, the beds are lumpy and my toilet was broken and ran alllllll night long. Breakfast was a disappointment as well. Sausage was undercooked and I'm certain, someone was sick by the end of the day. Thank goodness I was in town to catch a cruise and only stayed there one night.

housekeeping staff. rude person working in the morning of Saturday March 11th. we were ignored, totally disregarded our presence while walking in the building, no housekeeping service either until the day we check out. also we had to request change of rooms, we were given a disabled room as a couple, and we had to stay in a double bed room with smaller beds.

Overall good for the price

The beds were very very comfy. I loved the layout of the room. It was very spacious. I also liked the shower and the very large full-length mirror. The decor in the room was nice. It made me feel warm and welcome. The heating unit was very responsive and warmed the room quickly when I turned the heat up.

Behind the nightstand was a thick layer of dust so it led me to wonder what else wasn't getting cleaned. The common areas were a bit run down. But the room I stayed in was way better than the common areas. I wish they had more snack options in their shop downstairs though.
