Passable

The whole inn had the smells of the attached restaurant. When we first arrived, it smelled SO bad , like greasy burnt food. My clothing that I brought and did t wear even had that smell when I got home. The mornings brought smells of muffins, which was better , but still. Wish they could separate the ventilation systems. Also, our room was the only one without windows and super small. The Keurig coffee and water bottles were nice.

Cool history! Love that it is haunted too! Right downtown - close to all the awesome restaurants/bars and shopping! Such a adorable town.

Water pressure could of been a little better, but that is my only complaint! Everything else amazing!

Wonderful stay and nobody had any special visitors.

Great location. Fun, Victorian style rooms. Love the bedspreads.

My husband hated the steep stairs but we were forewarned not to bring large bags. Stairs are period appropriate.

Historic charm, nicely renovated, comfortable, centrally located, fresh flowers, fresh coffee and excellent customer service!

A quaint hotel with lots of history, room was clean and comfortable, in a lovely area of Williams, would highly recommend, just be aware that there is a steep staircase to climb, but please, don't let that put you off, brilliant.

Not the fault of the hotel because that's the reason it was originally built, but it is close to the railway line and the trains like honking their horns as they pass through at stupid o'clock

Loved the Ambiance, history and location and proximity to downtown. Easy access,, free parking, great communication with staff and had refrigerator, complimentary water, vending machine and VERY clean! Breakfast restaurant, steps away!

Train station close by and could hear the whistle blow late at night and early morning...tgen again, it was part of the experience.

Lovely pit stop in fabulous little town. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Quaint, comfortable, attention to theme detail, amenities, great and fast communication with host.

Steep stairs if being really picky, but not really a problem or avoidable.

Cute, eclectic, and well worth the visit.

Everything! The Red Garter Inn has amazing ambiance, dripping with history, the beds are comfy, and everything is clean. It's a short walk to some of the best food and drink in town.

The stairs are very steep.

Old West Charm updated for modern comfort

The check-in process was made exceedingly easy through very detailed communication from the property. Our room was a delicate balance between the old world quirkiness of the original western brothel that it once was and the modern conveniences that one would expect. It was a really pleasant stay.

It was a pleasant stay for our 25th anniversary.

We had an inside room. It was nice but would have preferred a window. It was a very nice place and very clean,homey.

The best thing was the beautiful decor and coffee😀

Wonderful

We loved staying there! Everything was great, loved the old western look! Staff was awesome!

The stairs were a bit tough for an older couple but it was still a wonderful time & would go back again!

The stairs were a bit steep and narrow for older guests like us. Nothing they can do to chyit, but it would have been nice if this was mentioned in their ad. And they could have offered to help carry luggage upstairs. But overall a positive experience.

This place was neat and clean. Right in the middle of everything. Communication with staff via text or Booking.com messaging was very nice and responsive.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

Loved the historical feel to the property.

Pillows were flats and made sleeping uncomfortable. There was a shared refrigerator in the hallway, which was based on the honor system. Trains came through town very early waking us up.

Former Brothel Turns Into A Cozy Inn

My Sister and I had the entire place to ourselves, which during COVID was amazing. The manager was very welcoming and friendly. I am so glad we chose to book here instead of the standard chain hotels.
