Everything was nice and as expected. Our late arrival was prepared with no issues. There was all we needed for a short stay.
No staff and bar closed after 8pm

I was not able to stay. Booking.com took my money but there were no rooms available.
4.5
Great location both for Yosemite access and in the centre of a village with lots of character; iconic building with modern facilities and decor in rooms
Rooms a little on the small side. Food and drink in restaurant seemed expensive, we didn’t eat there as a result but good other options around
2.5
The bar and restaurant were good but not open for the first couple of nights which was a surprise. We struggled to get food in Groveland on the Monday evening.
The rooms were tired and we had to request housekeeping if we wanted the room cleaned or the beds made. I do not expect that over a five day stay.

I didn’t have breakfast there. I was impressed. It was a cute hotel. The room was great. The bed was super comfy. It was a bit pricey, but I understand the location made that so.

Proximity to business location in Moccasin, CA, Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.
A chair or bench in the room would have provided some place to sit.
3.0
As we were coming after business hours and during the night, I asked the manager to take a photo of the after hours procedure instead of just telling us where the key would be. We had been driving all day and it was annoying to try and find the key in the dark when all it would have taken was to just send us a photo of where it would be. It took me several minutes in the cold to find it.
Room and receptionist were pleasant though.
4.5
Very comfortable and simple. Property is very well maintained and clean.
Breakfast option and the Roku television system was too complicated to operate.

i heard it was haunted.

The room was clean. The staff communicated very well to make sure that I had a key for after hours arrival. The bed was very comfortable.
The parking lot did not feel safe for a solo traveler. A man was being rambunctious in the alley/street that is the main walkway from the parking lot to the front of the hotel. He started walking my way and I had to drop my suitcases in the middle of the parking lot and lock myself in my car. I waited until he was gone and tried again, he came out from behind the corner of a building adjacent to the parking lot and I had to sprint to the front of the building. I know that the staff/hotel cannot control what the public is doing, however I feel that there could have been more lights in the alley or the parking lot. There is a courtyard that I could have walked through, but it did not have any lights so I did not know that it connected to the front until the next day. The town also shuts down around 8:30-9 so nobody was around if I had needed help. It was a very scary experience, I had to call 911 as I felt I was being followed at this point. They were very friendly and helped me get my stuff inside, and walked me back to my car to finish getting my belongings. They reassured me that this is a very safe area and told me this was an unusual experience.

good location for traveling to Yosemite, it located in small town but during period that I stay that still under covit 19 that not so many restaurant and shop in the town available for dinner

Groveland is awesome, staff was friendly. On-site bar and restaurant was closed due to staffing issues but front desk staff directed us to local eats within a block. Quite a drive from the valley floor but we loved its proximity to Columbia State Park, Rush Creek Spa, and Crane Flat sledding area.
The central heat was very inconsistent (stayed in January) but they had a good space heater in the room for when it felt cold. Then, the central heat was cranking and at times the room got too hot but we closed the vent. Management should upgrade to splits or have thermostat sensors in rooms.
3.5
A simple and cosy place to spend a few nights during our visit to Yosemite. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of Groveland and the convenient access to the national park.

Cozy rooms with a very comfortable bed. Great bar downstairs and just a stone’s throw away from Yosemite. The second floor balcony was a great spot to enjoy some morning coffee.
Small issue with the drain not working properly in the shower.

The location was great and the staff was extremely friendly.
Bar closes early

Charming old property that is well maintained and in good shape. Unique decor in the room. Good location in the center of town with easy access to services.
Advertises as "Pet Friendly" - then charges $75 additional "pet fee" and threatens $500 charge if pet "has an accident in the room" - This is more than twice the industry standard rate of $25 to $35 . . . Paid over $200 for a tiny room on a Sunday night - there are better values in the area including entire vacation rentals.

Location is really good. Staff was kind and helpful even if it's after hour. There's many beer tap on the bar that all guest has complimentary 2 pint per room.
