The stay was exceptional unfortunately the air-conditioning spoiled, but otherwise would’ve been a perfect weekend

Location, spacious room, very comfortable bed.

Air conditioner was extremely noisy and disruptive during the night for sleep.

Property was clean, but showed its age.

Property was well kept and clean.

The room was noisy, creaks and groans all night from the AC. Loud enough to keep you awake. Also called for extra bedding and never received it.

We had a pleasant and cost effective stay on a great old town location

Location

False fire alarm. Darkness of room. Needs overhead light. The gray color scheme could be relived by occasional bursts of color. The breakfast service is slow and langurous.

Fantastic short stay in an elegant hotel within walking distance to all of the retailers and restaurants on King St. Als

Location was convenient to the metro.

Bathroom door not ideal. It’s a large sliding door with a frosted glass/material. It looks nice, however; at night if someone is up to use the bathroom it makes the room very bright. Also did not like that upon checking in (which was early) the desk told me there was a room ready but I would have to pay $40 for it as early check in. I haven’t encountered this before. If you have a room ready, it seems ridiculous to pay extra for it.

Stunning property

Excellent restaurant with courtyard seating. Traveling with pets made this a nice surprise. We were able to have our dogs woods during an elegant dinner

No free parking available. $40 valet car fee for the night

Beautiful, clean rooms and prime location make this hotel a must stay!

The location of the hotel is excellent. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance (there is also a trolley stop right outside). The Metro is very close and was extremely convenient to travel to Washington, DC.

The valet parking location was very unclear.

Superb

The breakfast was very good! Coffee was excellent and we tried the carry-out options as well as the full menu and enjoyed both. We loved the King suite with balcony…lovely!

We had problems with one television, but they were in the process of replacing them throughout the property and gave us consideration for that in our billing statement.

Too many dogs, staff was somewhat friendly. Room was ok, wasn’t a fan of the extra firm mattress. Also had concerns of cleanliness due to all the pets other guests had when checking in.

I love this boutique hotel. Enjoyed the complementary wine evenings. The courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. I like that it has some restaurants on site . Overall clean and comfortable.

this property holds special memories and this last minute, unplanned stay was lovely.

I love the location, the rooms are quiet, the coffee is strong, the courtyard is inviting, shower water pressure & temp were great, the bath products had a great scent and were very nice.

the view from rm 222 is “meh” but for a last minute booking after a canceled flight, totally a-ok for me and my kiddo. If this were a romantic trip with my husband, I might have felt a bit disappointed.

Beautiful, clean, modern hotel

Beautifully appointed, clean, modern rooms. We loved the giant shower in our room, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Also, a fantastic location, walkable to the Metro or Amtrak stations.
