A great accommodation option right opposite the ocean- quiet and picturesque yet still walking distance to shops, cafes

Great spot right opposite beach - where we saw seals on the rocks! A lovely 30 min walk into the main street of Cambria either along beach or boardwalk. Lots of breakfast options including freshly made pancakes! Didn’t have time to try the heated pool and spa but it looked appealing.

Would happily come back

Everything was great; beds super comfortable, staff were nice, very clean and spacious rooms. Lovely pool and fire pit area.

Mooie omgeving, prima verblijf

Prachtige moderne kamers, badkamers en bedden. Leuke tuin met zitjes. Verwarmd zwembad en hottub. Ontbijt simpel. Mooi om over het kustpad tegenover te lopen.

Kamers vrij gehorig, maar in de nacht is iedereen stil geweest

We travel to Cambria every year for July 4th. We look forward to staying at The Castle Inn again next year.

It was an exceptionally well kept property. The grounds, the rooms the great breakfast room were super clean. The service personnel were very kind and personable, always willing to help with a smile. While we didn’t get to use the pool and hot tub, they looked well kept and inviting. Next time we’re there, and there will definitely be a next time, we will use everything.

Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut gefallen! Lage, Zimmer, Pool- top!

Die Lager war perfekt, direkt am Wasser. Der Pool war sogar beheizt, sodass die Kinder ihn mehr als genossen haben.

Der Frühstücksraum war ungemütlich und sehr klein, aber sauber und absolut ok für einen schnellen Snack vor der Weiterfahrt. Der Pancake maker war großartig und der Service sehr nett!

Tolle Unterkunft direkt am Pazifik.

Die Lage direkt am Pazifik. Vielfältige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Unterkunft. Cambria selbst ist mit dem Auto ca. 3 Minuten entfernt und ein wirklich süßes kleines Städtchen. Direkt an der Unterkunft gibt es ein paar Restaurants, die wirklich empfehlenswert sind. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber lecker und liebevoll gestaltet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen und können das Castle Inn empfehlen. Auch Cambria würden wir als Geheimtipp bewerten.

An excellent choice when staying in Cambria. Very good value.

Castle Inn was a great choice for us. The room was clean and we had a bonus view of the ocean and the bed was comfortable. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room but I would undoubtably stay there again.

The inconsiderate people in the room above us. They were noisy and stayed up way later than was expected. They fought on and off and stomped around like they were wearing cement shoes.

We needed a mini vacation and this hit all the marks!

Bed was super comfortable, ocean view beautiful, pool and jacuzzi really great and fairly new. Loved the fire pit and quick access to the beautiful beach and walking paths.

Would be nice to have better quality in-room coffee for the Kuerig; the lobby coffee is okay.

Great Weekend Getaway

Location is perfect. Rooms are modern, updated and well thought out. Every amenity. Outdoor seating, fire pit etc. were all nice. EV chargers were a great amenity!

Only downside was no smart TV., so no way to get to Netflix, etc. Not a huge deal but surprising since everything else was updated.

The property has many rooms with an ocean view. Super clean, pool and spa very well kept, fire pit self service anytime you like, beautifully updated and should get a 9.0 rating.

Absolutely no comment for any negatives.

Tolles Inn an schöner Lage! Gerne wieder!

Sehr schöne Lage entlang dem Strand. Sehr komfortable Betten. Saubere Zimmer. Beheizter Jacuzzi und Pool! Genial während Sonnenuntergang.

Wir hatten über uns eine chinesische Gruppe, die einen Riesenkrach ab 6:00 Uhr morgens veranstalteten. Stampfen, lautes Reden, kochen mit gesamter Baggage im Zimmer! Eher ein Zimmer im oberen Stock nehmen, wenn man lärmepfindlich ist. War aber nicht der Fehler vom Hotel.

Very nice, well maintained motel, right across from the beach.

The location is right across from the beach. There’s a boardwalk that is accessible to take walks to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The rooms and grounds are exceptionally maintained, as well as the pool and jacuzzi. There is a fire pit to sit around and additional chairs on the lawns.

A breakfast was advertised as being included with the room, but it was simply muffins and scones with coffee. I am not sure if that really counts as what I would call a breakfast, but the room rate was very reasonable so I wasn’t really expecting much.

Excellent inn on the beach with beautiful views, clean rooms and super comfortable bed!

Very clean room, beautiful view ocean view, exceptional pool and jacuzzi facilities(best on Moonstone beach and I’ve stayed in most of the hotels), lovely access to boardwalk, loved sitting by the firepit outside listening to the waves crash, good instant oatmeal and coffee, enough to get your day going, awesome location, best price!

We have been coming here forever. Original and current Ownership has allways kept this property up.

Like everything it has gotten a bit pricey. It is a nice property in a nice location.

Nice quant place across from the ocean.

Location and the nice chairs to chill in. They even offer blankets. They take dogs for a fee per dog per nite if u call direct and the rooms are open

We were pleasantly surprised with this location!

We liked that there were many hooks to hang things on. We really liked that there were a couple of folding chairs! We really liked having three trash cans! We really liked that there were a lot of chairs in the room!

No in-room iron and ironing board. It is hard to come up with things that we didn't like since there wasn't many things that we didn't like!

Loved it here, will come back again some day

Room & bathroom were comfortable and very clean. Location was perfect. Enjoyed sitting in the adirondack chairs with a glass of wine watching the sun go down.

Noise from room up above us was loud.

Perfect location with beautiful ocean view rooms

Absolutely perfect location, the ocean is right across the street. The rooms have recently been remodeled with a trendy look. Accommodations were spotlessly clean and well cared for. The room was spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. You’re only a few miles away from the Hearst Castle and Elephant Seal beach. We will definitely book here again.

I wish the pool was a little warmer, we tried to swim but it was way too cold!
