Home like feeling with an incredible staff!

I liked the heating vent in the bathroom and the decoration,it feels like you’re at home. The view you can see at the top when you’re at the pool is great. Thais and Sally are so sweet and really make you feel comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning and even when there’s a lot of people it still is peaceful. The grounds and rooms are very well kept. I definitely recommend this b&b to anyone!

Best B&B experience in some time!

Everything was great - the owner greeted us warmly, showed us around her B&B, and even let us choose between 2 rooms. What I appreciated was that the tour was expeditious and efficient showing us what we would want to know and nothing more. Everything was nicely appointed in the room. We traveled with our 55lb Aussie and 2yr old toddler and they were very accommodating to both. We had a wonderful stay

Nothing - everything was great. There were a couple restaurants really close by if you've been traveling a lot that day. And a handful more within a 10min drive that were all good. Nice view of the lake.

A perfect stay for a New England weekend getaway!

My husband and I planned this as a last-minute getaway to unwind for a couple of days. We were looking for a cozy B&B where we could relax and enjoy some down time, and the Sutton House was exactly what we had in mind. Thais greeted us at the door when we arrived, and had our reservations details in hand. She took the time to show us what amenities were available to us during our stay and walked us through all the comforts of our room, so we could take advantage of all this beautiful B&B had to offer. We stayed in the Blue Hyacinth room which was quite large yet charming and cozy. The bathroom had a beautiful soaking tub, a cozy fireplace and sweet vanity for getting ready. Thais and her staff have really thought of everything, and you instantly feel like her home is your home. I wish we were able to enjoy more of Sally's cooking at breakfast, but what I did have was delicious. As other reviews mention, the B&B is located on a busy road, but we didn't find this disturbing at all, and we had the advantage of seeing the lake from our room which was well worth the location.

Exceptional

This was my 1st B&B experience and it was wonderful! We spent 5 days at the Sutton House and Thais and her team were fabulous from the beginning. The Yellow Daffodil room was very clean and I appreciated the noise machine in case of outside noises. That was one concern of mine when considering a B&B, but we didn't need the noise machine at all. I appreciated the extra effort of wrapping each glass in plastic and having disposable items as COVID is still present. Each morning started with a delicious homecooked breakfast which began with a fresh fruit cup, baked good (muffin, bread etc.) and then the main course that varied from spinach quiche to pumpkin pancakes with pure maple syrup. It was all amazing. The 24/7 coffee/tea bar in the main room also had fresh baked cookies for guests. These little touches made it feel like Grandma's house. Then, there is Patty. Not only did she bake most of the delicacies but she was so entertaining and friendly. She made our stay extra special. She even packed us a little "to-go" bag of goodies and fresh coffee to take on our trip back home. Thais, Patty, Sally and Lynn sent us off with a group picture so we could remember our fabulous NH trip and the experience we had at Sutton House. We will be back very soon! ❤️

Everything was great! The only thing missing was a microwave in a common area for guests to use.

Comfortable/pleasant visit.

Breakfasts were great. Owner and staff were helpful and friendly. Location was very convenient.

Had requested a first floor room. That wasn't possible due to other guests' requirements. Owner tried very hard to accommodate us, but it didn't work out.

Five star experience!

Sutton House is lovely and sparkling clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. Our room had every amenity to ensure an outstanding stay.

Checkout time at 10 am is tight but fortunately our host made an accommodation to 10:30 for us.

Breakfast was wonderful! We enjoyed the breakfast area and all the great choices. The host is very personable and helpful. We walked done the street to the canoe restaurant and had a great dinner. Beautiful area!

Relaxing and comfortable stay with great location!

The breakfast served on both days we were there was phenomenal! The room was decorated nicely and VERY clean. The bathroom was the biggest bathroom we have ever seen for a B&B and was also immaculate with many added touches like a lighted makeup mirror. We stayed in the purple peony room on the third floor.

Our stay was exceptional. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was the BEST! Would love to return if we are in New Hampshire again. A beautiful Bed and Breakfast in a beautiful area!

I definitely would recommend the Sutton House. But I would mention that the traffic is loud.

The Breakfast was great and the staff was very pleasant! More than happy to recommend nearby attractions.

My only thing was the heavy traffic sound right on rte. 25. I am a light sleeper and found it difficult to sleep.

Definitely a place that we would visit again. The rooms are beautifully decorated.

Enjoyed the breakfast and ability to choose to our liking. We appreciated the sensitivity to our personal request for room location. Location on the main drag in Center Harbor is perfect. The innkeeper, Thais St. Clair, was friendly and accommodating.

Took a long time to get hot water from the sink in the bathroom of The White Lotus room.

The location was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hot breakfast was delicious!

We were a little put off by a curtain instead of door to separate the bathroom but we got used to it.
