This was the perfect spot for our family of four (with two children) as we explored Acadia and Bar Harbor.

We chose this location because of its proximity to the entrance of the National park, and that was wonderful. the room was clean and well-equipped it’s towels. We stayed in the king suite, and our children loved their own little room with separate beds so they weren’t keeping each other up all night (huge when they are hiking and busy all day). The beds were very comfortable. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good, too! Honestly, it was perfect for our needs.

My older son didn’t like the eggs. That is the only complaint from our stay.

Extremely disappointed.

We requested that our rooms be close. When we arrived the woman at the front desk said that was impossible and we ended up with rooms in completely different buildings! The hotel blamed it on booking.com and said they did not communicate my request with them. The breakfast was not open/ ready at 6:30am as promised. No sign of staff and the building that breakfast is served in was dark. Alerted the front desk in the lobby of the issue. About 20 minutes later they opened the building up. The options were very limited and the only hot options were eggs and sausage and they were cold. My family and many other guests had scheduled an early excursion … a whale watch and this delay caused us to not have enough time for a full breakfast. On the second morning of our stay, breakfast was open on time but coffee machine was out of order. Eventually they brought coffee from the lobby machine in carafes to the breakfast house. The hot options were scrambled eggs again and pork and beans… not a typical breakfast option. All in all, the complimentary breakfast was a big disappointment. None of the staff even offered an apology for the inconvenience. My first stay at a Best Western and will be my last.

Comfortable room with generous breakfast Was a good place to refresh for next part of our road trip

The room was very clean and comfortable. It had been updated. We liked having the fridge and microwave in the room - they really came in handy for planning lunch food for hiking. The breakfast (included) was tasty and ample, and had lots of variety. Staff were always pleasant.

All buildings were at ground level, which affected privacy and natural light coming into the rooms. Otherwise, everything was very good!
