Bed bugs or flea bites after staying here - not sure which yet.

definitely only recommended for a single night stay. but even then it should be cheaper

well located in Tehachapi just if yo need an overnight stop on your way to or from Grand Ca the shower and the fridge work like expected.

Rooms are not maintained and cleaned very well. equipment is very basic

Sweep and mop your floors

Owner knocked on door at 9:00 reminded us of the 10 am check out time . I had my alarm set and was still sleeping. Also 10 am is to early of a check out time . That’s a four hour window and not much cleaning is happening so not sure why it’s so early

curtains and bedding were dirty! I found hairs on the thin cheap towels! sink and shower did not drain! curtains were thin and I was unable to keep the outside lights from disturbing my sleep! the guy behind the counter was barely able to speak English! this place needs to be checked out by the health department! I would never stay here again! my money should be refunded!!!!!

Disappointed is putting it mildly.

The location was ok. It was convenient and served its purpose.

The room had a musty smell and seemed dated. This place could use a renovation. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. Will never stay here again.

Fit the purpose

There is no breakfast. Easy check in. It is quiet and out of the way from stores, etc. it served the purpose of having a place to sleep. Window air conditioner worked as did the tv.

Bathroom could use a bit of work cosmetically.

Location was fine. Bed was uncomfortable and the 2 pillows were the flatest pillows ever. Couldn't get comfortable

People were great, room was okay, but you get what you pay for.

Motel was close the where I worked and was easy to get too. Check in wasn't a hassle. The room wasn't spectacular but it was literally half the price of all the other places in town, so you get what you pay for. Overall I would stay there again for the same price.

Again the room wasn't the greatest just because it's an old building. The people did a good job cleaning it to the best of their ability so it was nice.

One of the cheapest places in town but that’s no excuse not to clean the place.

Location is fairly good. About 10 minute walk from restaurants.

Don’t think the room had been cleaned since the 1980s.

Such a cute room, so quaint. The bed, bathroom, microwave and fridge were clean. Nice floor and white brick walls, and a surprise rainbow disco light on the shower head, at least in my room. A little decrepit in a good character-giving way. Perfect 10/10

It was filthy the rug in the office dirty trash barrel overflowing weeds The main lock on room door gone only a little door knob lock only one small working light in the room The beds were sloppily made No discount fir AAA, vetrans, seniors A grocery cart in our room walk way full of plastic garbage Flower beds unattended The key lock in the door was very hard to work Over all they should be reported to public health department And we should get a refund the price was outrageous if it wasn’t so late at night we would have gone somewhere else

Sheets were paper thin, towels old, bathroom and main area poor. They put us right next to a permanent resident who had loud quests late at night. Curtain was a worn sheet. There was no lobby. It was a dingy counter.

This hotel was quaint and fit the bill for a quick stay and a little Americana.

Shower stall was better suited for a pool. Attic space was open and creepy.

Disappointing

Cheapest hotel in Tehachapi. Nice location, very central. Newer television, room is a good size. Quick and easy check-in, even though I got into town late (1am) friendly staff.

I was not expecting perfection, but it was just dirty in an un-settling way. Dirt on the floor, not mopped or swept, leftover used silverware on the counters (yuck). The nightstand was dirty, had dust/hair on it and was obviously not even wiped down from previous guests. The shower was leaking all over the bathroom floor. Shower was full of big stains. Bed was uncomfortable and hard as a rock. The toilet area was cleaned up to standards, but I'm pretty sure that was the only thing cleaned from the previous guest along with the linens. I did feel like the sheets/towels were cleaned properly, which was a good thing considering the cleanliness of the rest of the room.

Cheap and a bed to sleep on.

Bed was comfy and ac was nice and cold. Had a mini fridge and a microwave. Didn’t use the tv but it was an insignia brand so it was probably decent for watching YouTube or Netflix. Also the bed is stiff which I like but if you don’t like it then it’s a negative.

Restroom could have been cleaner and there was a piece of the restroom ceiling missing so you could see into the attic/crawl space. Not really that bad but if you worry about rats and what not then that might be a point to consider.

Disappointing, value was good. Plastic mattress cover which was a little noisy.

good location, right of the main road. Good value. Family run.

it was not to clean. there was a blood smear on the front of the toilet.
