Superb

Nice facility with decent breakfast, good workout facility. Check in staff super friendly. Biggest regret was not having more time to spend there. Checked in at midnight and left next am.

Our usual hotel was booked, but this one was fine.

Very clean room in a quiet location. We had a wheelchair-accessible room although we didn't request it and liked the fully walk-in shower.

The pillows could be larger and fluffier. Despite being an accessible room, we were surprised to see that there were no instructions in Braille anywhere in the room. That seems an oversight.

Very nice hotel and nice value for the amenities offered.

The hotel is located next to major intersections and very close to many shopping areas. The bed in the room was very comfortable. I did not use the pool or whirlpool, but they were both a good size and looked very nice. I will stay here again when I am in Cedar Rapids again.

The hotel entrance is a bit hard to find if you are heading north from 1st Avenue.

Not very handicap friendly.....

We are a handicap couple, the room they gave us was far away from all of the amenities. We had to walk to another building. If we walked it was all uphill We were there for three nights and could not go to the free breakfast because it was so far away. And they never told us that they did not surve breakfast on Mondays.........

It was okay

Staff were very friendly. Walking into the lobby it appeared very nice and clean. However, once we got to our room we found the curtains were ripped. Beds were fine. Not much selection for TV channels though. Bathroom was outdated. Pool area was fine but walking down the stairs there were things left in the stairwell by other guests and just made it look messy. Around 8:30-9pm other guests had brought alcohol and loud music into the pool area to have a party causing my family (with small children) to leave. The breakfast area was accommodating and nice. Breakfast was very good. Check in/out was simple and easy. Overall the stay was adequate for what we needed it for.

Very good

like the old Holiday inn from the 70s and 80s where there is arcade and pool tables nestle the pool. It was fun. The breakfast was really good and the rest of the family enjoyed the Coffee place across the street.

Hallways were not that great could have been worse but the rooms were wonderful and beds were comfortable. staff also made sure our rooms were next to each other

We really enjoyed the pool, sauna, lounge, room, and breakfast.

Really, the only thing that would have made our stay better was having heat in the hallways and the sky walk to the pool area. Every time we went to the pool or breakfast we had to go across the skywalk which was freezing! Nothing like getting out of the pool and have to go into a skywalk that was 30 degrees. LoL. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Hidden gem

The facility was clean, beautifully maintained, serene. Very quiet- no neighboring room, HVAC, or exterior disruptive noise.

An additional blanket might have been a plus.

Pool small. Deeper than the side markings. Weird spot right next to bar area. No towels available at pool. I had read of that issue on another review and had brought my own towels in anticipation of it happening again.

overall a very pleasant stay. Have stayed here before and will again if in the area!!

The breakfast was great..lots of choices and plenty to eat. The pool and hot tub were nice. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Was easy to get to and close to where we needed to be. Plenty of parking.

Only complaint I had was the bathroom floor was not clean. there was a bobbie pin, some lint and screw on the floor which told me it had not even been swept. otherwise every thing else was clean and welcoming!!
