Some positives and some negatives -- net result, disappointed.

Location. Deck with nice views of the lake or stream. Excellent breakfast.

The reason I'm rating the hotel low is because of one major problem. We stayed three days. We asked that we get a new set of towels. That request was not met. The roof needed cleaning before we arrived and remained on cleaned throughout. I don't like to rate things low and I am not a "hard grader" but the simple act of providing clean towels on a three day stay and not cleaning the room is total unacceptable.

Good

Location was within 2 miles of the event we were attending that week. Price was reasonable, room was clean and comfortable, staff very friendly. Breakfast was adequate, though scrambled eggs, when served, tended to be dry. Overall quite satisfied with our stay.

We were there for orientation at IU it was a clean, decent hotel for the price.

The rooms were clean and fairly updated. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.

The hotel is hard to get to and looks awful from the outside. If I had gone on the outside appearance alone we would have left immediately. Thankfully the interior lobby areas and the rooms are nicer.

It was wonderful

It’s nice and quiet. Very cozy , organized and beautiful inside .

We would definitely stay there again. A good bargain for the price.

The breakfast was adequate. Would have preferred some eggs with it but what was served was good.

Our room was a welcome comfort after a family funeral and a long day. Will stay again.

Breakfast was as expected. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable.

I don't really have any complaint.

pool area looked...bad...mostly the hot tub... wouldn't go near it...

first room had multiple soda cans, dirty q tips, flower petals, and a bunch of grime over several common surfaces. they put us in a room that didn’t have a balcony which was the only reason we booked there. 2nd room was better. Felt judged by most of the employees most of the stay.

It had an awful smell when you walk in. Tubs are badly stained; visible water damage from ceiling. Did not appear to be very clean; we brought our own bedding.

Room was quiet. Security seemed adequate. Hot breakfast was sub parnice but limited.

In 4 days housekeeping only came in once. Tv viewing was poor. Furniture needed replaced years ago.

it was good for what I needed it for and reasonably priced.

the staff was helpful in resolving a noise and smoking issue with the room below me. the tenants were super loud and smoking weed, both of which invaded my room.

Everything looks run down. cracks in ceilings and poor patch jobs. sliding door didn’t shut all of the way. toilet seat so loose in a handicap room that I almost slid off —self and seat together — just sitting down.
