Overall good stay! but one complaint

The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was clean with the exception of some trash and leftover bits of food. The pool was great, and so was the location! Overall had an awesome time and will be returning. :)

On the second day of our stay during breakfast, I saw who I can assume was maintenance, adding in water and chlorine to the pool. I'm unsure whether the chlorine needed more time or if he added too much but when using the pool that day around 5pm the chlorine was sickengly strong and me and my friends ended up getting sick from it. There wasn't a sign up saying it wasn't safe. But we left the pool shortly afterward.

Akzeptables Hotel für kürzere Aufenthalte

Das Zimmer war gross und gut ausgestattet. Es war recht ruhig ( Lage von der Strasse abgewandt), allerdings hörte man gegen 7 Uhr. morgens die Leute die Eismaschine bedienen. Die Betten waren komfortabel, die Matratze nicht zu hart. Das Zimmer verfügte über alle notwendigen Grundausstattungen wie Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Wasseroberfläche etc. Das Bad war ebenfalls gut mit vernünftiger Dusche und sauber.

Die Fenster ließen sich nicht auch nur einen Spalt öffnen. Keine Frischluft zum Lüften. Das Frühstück war zwar für amerikanische Verhältnisse einigermaßen o.k., europäische Maßstäbe darf man allerdings nicht anlegen. Es gab Smashed Eggs und Bacon, Cookies und Bagels von überschaubarer Qualität, Essbar waren auch verschiedene Sorten von Joghurt und Waffeln mit verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen. Kaffee war genießbar, Orangensaft hatten wir an einem von zwei Tagen.

Disappointing. My email to the facility has not received a response.

The breakfast was disappointing. We went out for breakfast on during our stay.

The seating are of our room was wet from an apparent a/c leak. The room had an odor because of it. We notified the staff but it was not resolved. Breakfast food was disappointing. Overcooked or cold and they did not have condiments for the bagels or toast. We had to request clean towels.

It was okay but needed many upgrades

Close to downtown

Couldn’t get no sleep for noise . First room they put me in was not clean , the doors closest to exit were broken and had to walk thru entire hotel to get outside.

Location is great, staff was so friendly. Great, hot breakfast the 1st morning.

No gravy at breakfast the 2nd morning, the toilet was a little loose in our bathroom

Very friendly staff. Room was nice.

No guide on the tv. We couldn't tell what show was playing on the tv or what it was rated. Housekeeping schedule was confusing. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights. Housekeeping only refilled our towels one time and took the trash once. Beds were never refreshed.

Property is wonderfully kept. The breakfast is always amazing. We frequent Boone a lot and always stay here.

It was kind of hard to sleep due to loud music in a room next to us until around 2-3am but that’s not the property owners fault.

We had a bad smell in the bathroom. It smelled of mildew and was probably the shower curtain.

Quiet, comfortable, and reasonable for our weekday stay and tour of App State.

The room was comfortable with slight peeling on the bathroom ceiling. TV and available channels helped me feel at home. Weather didn’t permit walking so we drove and it was convenient to most places we went. Quiet neighborhood during our visit.

Ice machine broke on floor 1. I learned a little too late and not through the motel Appalcart is available and FREE. Didn’t get any suggestions for eating, entertainment, or other activities. Wish I had checked out the breakfast so I can better plan our future visits.

Getting out of the parking lot onto the highway was difficult at times. The pool was right as you enter the building.

Our January Getaway

The hot breakfast has returned and was delicious every morning. The servers were friendly and attentive to the breakfast bar. Would give this area an A+. Bar was clean and well kept with plenty of food.

We've been staying at Comfort Suites since it was built. We love the location as it relates to the areas we like to visit when we're there. This time there were no rooms available on the first floor due to no cleaning staff. We were told there was only one housekeeper on duty, we never saw anyone fitting that description on the 3rd floor where we were placed. We were told if we needed anything to fill out what we needed and hang it on our door. We did so and it was still on the door 2 days later. We finally took it down to the desk and was told that it would be given to the housekeeping staff and items would be brought the next day. At 3 pm the next day my husband went back to the front desk to see if they could just give him the toiletries and they handed him toilet paper, tissues and trash bags. Not sure why they couldn't have done that earlier. I realize if you have little or no staff that things can get behind. The hall carpet near us was filthy. Caked mud that had fallen off someone's work boots laid outside our door the entire time we were there. I wanted to clean it up but my husband kept saying the sweeper would get it. Not. We really hate to see this property fall into disrepair. In all the years we've been staying at CS, we've never seen this type of service so we're hoping this is an off-season, isolated event. We do love to stay here and it's very affordable. We also know that basic comforts need to be met if we continue to come back.
