Awful!!!

The easy access to interstate and several restaurants.

When I walked in to register, I was met with a desk clerk/ manager who was very combative. After my credit card had been run, I mentioned I’d been charged twice for damage deposit a few days earlier and had problems contacting anyone at Red Roof to correct the issue. She blew up at me! Demanding I prove I’d been charged twice. She wants to see it on my credit card statement. I said, “Hey, just void my transaction and I’ll go someplace else. “ She refused to void the transaction!! But, offered to wave the damage deposit , as long as I sign a form ( I travel with a service dog). Ok. Then I asked if there was going to be a problem in the morning when I come for breakfast. I’ll have my dog with me, and the last time they tried to refuse access. Things went well until I asked for a paper copy of my bill- The same manager/desk clerk. She was forcefully placing papers and pens etc. she hit the stapler so hard I thought she cracked the counter top. And basically flung the receipt at me. I said,” Thank you.” And left. Will I refer anyone to that place?? No chance!!

The bed was comfortable

I realize it is a budget hotel. Stayed here because I was bringing my brother in laws dog home, but I don't understand why they can't clean it. I dropped ice on the floor and when wiping it up realized the floor was filthy. I couldn't even get in the shower. So stained and dark. Unfortunately we were in the rooms at the back, the highway noise is crazy..and the fridge ticked all night.

Very good

The location was close to local eateries and points of interest. Very easy highway access but quiet overall. Red Roof is our hotel of choice because they let us bring our pets for free.

The bed was a little firm for my liking. Breakfast choices were very limited; they had oatmeal packets, bread, and a couple of bagels. Beverages were limited to coffee and milk. Powdered creamer packets were provided, but there was no other coffee creamer available.

Overall everything else was great

I enjoyed the coffee. I only seen bagel, bread, and cereal not really a breakfast for the ones who don’t eat this.

Fine for a short stay - definitely need to work on the coffee.

Good location,, near highway, close to Lake Norman and Davidson. Room was clean, aging a bit, but the place seemed well cared for. Though near the highway, it was quiet - the AC made a bit of noise. Delighted to find our favorite soccer team's game on the TV. Always appreciate the hospitality to dogs.Staff was very pleasant and friendly.

The breakfast was bare bones, continental, only milk for coffee, and very weak coffee. I ended up driving to Starbucks nearby to get something strong enough for me. Pool was closed for maintenance. Dog area is a bit small, and guests were not all picking up the poops.
