Clean but needs update!

Needs updated in room.. carpet was old and stained.. The doors needed a fresh coat of paint.

I would stay again.

The breakfast options were great. It was a nice clean area. And well stocked.

The bathroom was a little off putting with the cleanliness. The knob to the shower had mold in it. The bathroom overall just didn’t feel clean.

Better than sleeping outside under a tree.

Location

There was a line of about 6 customers at the check in desk. It took over 40 minutes to get through the line. The elderly woman at the desk did a good job with credit cards that bounced and a number of other customer issues. She had an overwhelming task.. She was completely alone at 5:00 pm and actually had to answer the periodic phone call, too. The room was old, outdated and in need of renovation. However, I do not have high expectation for hotel breakfasts, but the food was close to inedible. It was of the lowest standard that I have ever witnessed anywhere, especially the microwave sausage and egg.

We appreciated the staff and the location was convenient to travel to the Blue Ridge.

Breakfast was convenient and well staffed.

The room had a stale odor as if it had been used by smokers. The pillows were odd.

Nice hotel with a nice indoor pool and friendly staff.

The hotel was very clean, had an indoor pool/hot tub that were also clean. The room was comfortable, staff was very friendly, free breakfast consisted of cereal/muffins/waffle, etc. . . . A lot of restaurants close by.

To be honest, in this day and age, more receptacles for charging our electronics . . . there just weren't enough for two people as we had to unplugged other things to charge our devices.

Great place to ensure an early get away!

Good location; pleasant lobby, good breakfast, great shower water pressure. The lady who ran breakfast was outstanding.

Room had a musty smell reminiscent of aged cigarette smoke. There were yellow rings on the ceiling above bed that were off putting. Air conditioning was loud and not easily modulated for comfort. Highway sounds were constant throughout the night.

Dated...door in bathroom sticks...pool was filthy...breakfast was mediocre and some items not fresh (bagels)..coffee was terrible. We have stayed at this motel on 2 other occasions. It has definitely gone downhill. We will not plan to stay here again.

Good place for quick trips

Overall the room was clean, although the room was old and needs an update. The water was good and hot and the bed was fairly comfortable for a hotel bed.

I was displeased with a few things actually. The walls in my bathroom showed that there had been previous water damage because the sheetrock and wallpaper was bubbled and peeling and it looked to have had a ramshakled repair job that was tacked up with small nails and not actually repaired but patched. The toilet paper holder was rusty and was loose and coming off the wall. The sink had a horrible vinegar smell coming from the drain and ALOT of gnats!

good value good location

staff was very friendly . I requested a room on the ground floor and there was no problem with my request. Rooms are clean. Beds and shower were both very good. The breakfast was exceptional- there is staff there cooking and keeping everything full. The lobby was nicely decorated. The location is close to 77.

I have no complaints. Everything was very good for the money.

The staff was very friendly.

A room were a little outdated. The breakfast wasn't anything to talk about especially since I could not eat anything they offered. Nothing for people like me that can't have dairy or wheat/ gluten. Everything seemed to be microwave heat an serve from what I seen. All carbs not really healthy at all.

Facilities were nicely decorated and well taken care of in the lobby and breakfast/ eating area and the pool. Room was very clean and smelled nice.

Bathroom was in slightly rough condition and needed remodeling. I.e. wallpaper was coming off and tacked on with nails. Room safe did not work. Staff seemed not happy about finding and providing extra towels for swimming, but other than those few minor details, our stay was really nice.

Comfortable and convenient location

Good location, comfortable and clean room. Was able to park near our room. Nicely decorated comfortable lobby. Breakfast looked good though we didn't stay long enough to try it out.

Not a huge fan of outside access rooms. Also no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor traveling with a lot of stuff and a child.
