Convenient to the highway, well lit and a decent room for the night.

You’ll only get coffee if you make it in the room yourself. Also, for some odd reason all the lighting and exhaust fan in the restroom are on one switch. It’s bright enough, just noisy. And when you want a light, you get it all. We had to shut the door to avoid the noise.

I never stayed in a Econo Lodge before. I'm not a smoker, but my guest/friende left 3 1/2 hours after checked in. I requested first floor; I was put on the 2nd floor because smoking rooms are on the 2nd floor at this location. Texarkana is full of locals, who are homeless approximately maybe 10% and those few individuals seek a warm bed, shower and a place to smoke Meth.

Knowing ahead of time that the smoking rooms were on the 2nd floor. If the hotel info stated that online, I would have made reservations elsewhere.
