Convenient , comfortable , affordable , breakfast

The sink was clogged the water kept building up , but after a while it goes down. Other than that I was glad to get a room at a short notice. My grandfather died that night so we stayed in town and left the next day

AC/Heater worked, and it wasn't loud. Best thing about this stay. I can't count how many rooms we've booked where the AC/Heater either clangs and bangs all night, or doesn't get the memo about proper temperature. This one was relatively quiet and easier to adjust. Cable tv was included, but the TV was small and very outdated. It had HBO and several family options like Nickelodeon and Disney. So that's a plus, even with the small tv. Shower was decent. No frills here, but it gets the job done. Free Wi-Fi, but it's slow. If all you need to do is check email, you're golden. If you expect to send a file, stream a movie, or play a game, forget about it. Curtains were able to FULLY close. Blackout-like conditions. So much a plus for the days we wanted to sleep in a bit later. Microwave - didn't test it, but it was there. Small desk area with a cheap office-like chair that was a bit too small. But it's there, right? Small corner area with a couch and coffee table, but it was pointless because it's too far from the small tv and was uncomfortable to sit in. We just used it as a shelf to store things. It's also there, right? Something about the thought that counts, I suppose.

Free Wi-Fi - but it's slow Free Breakfast - but it's terrible. The eggs tasted powdered, the sausage tasted like mystery meat. The only thing good about the breakfast was the fresh fruit/yogurt and the waffle machine (since you know it's cooked fresh, by YOU) The TV was small. It was a flat screen, but certainly not modern. It's either very cheap, or 10+ years old. Cable was present, with HBO included. Several children's stations like Disney and Nickelodeon. So that was a bit of a plus. Paint was often peeling, and everything just looked OLD. It needs an update. I didn't even want to look at the mattresses, but I'll assume if I removed the covers it wouldn't have been a pretty sight. We requested the bed/sheets changed once for a 4 day stay. They never got changed. We left one morning at 8:00 am and I spoke with the front desk to change the bedding/sheets. Didn't happen. Noise... noise... noise... very thin walls. Luckily though, only one room was booked near us, and only for a day. But had the property been actually busy, it would have been a nightmare. Refrigerator in the room didn't work. It was plugged in, but wouldn't get cold. You could hear it was on as it would make a bit of noise, but nothing would actually work. We ended up unplugging it to cease the noise since it didn't work anyways. The front desk said they would move us rooms, but never did, despite the property being relative empty. Not a big thing since we didn't use the fridge anyways. The price per night really needs to come down. Other properties in the area offer MUCH more comfort for maybe $5/night more. Just spend the $5, or head to super budget motel to really save. Don't be like me and book this place.

The breakfast doesn't have chicken or turkey product like sausages or etc.I can't eat the beef and pork so.

The bed was comfortable, location was good. Clerk that cked us in was very nice and cordial. Coffee was very good.

The room smelled old and musty. Strip on the bottom of door came almost off each time it was opened, the arm on the sofa was broken almost caused a fall. Paper was stuffed in peep holes, odd. The whole building smelled old ,damp musty. Nothing like the Waco Tx on hwy35.
