Will not stay here again.

Location was good. Front desk clerk was friendly.

Location was good. Housekeeping did not clean our room and left a strange note. Room smelled like it was wet and moldy. Shower head sprayed water all over the ceiling which had been patched before but the source was not fixed so the patches were continuing to get wet with every shower.

It felt like home.

After a harrowing experience at the Downtown Inn in Asheville, NC, we traveled to Blacksburg, VA and this lovely place. The staff who greeted us were friendly and engaging and made us feel welcome immediately. Such a difference and so refreshing. The breakfast was outstanding. The pool was perfectly heated and lovely.

Price not comparable to what you receive, older hotel attempting to pass for new

Nice staff with one exception, location was nice, not noisy, bed decent

Staff member walked into my room without knocking at 8:00a.m , the price was not equal to the accommodations, older property, room had musty smell, found rid x bags in the room (for moisture)

The staff was excellent. Willing to help you with travel information and directions. The room was clean and the amenities were great.

My stay was short, that is what I didn't like. The location had plenty of shopping choices and the college was close by to tour the grounds and shop at the farmers market.

Dirty and smelly

The property is in a good location, and the staff was very pleasant.

They jacked up their prices for move-in week at Virginia Tech, which I guess is typical of hotels in that area. But to charge over $300 for a room of that caliber is really outrageous. It smelled very musty, the room was not clean, there was garbage under the bed, a whole punched in the closet door, and it was really just a pretty gross room.

Not the best stay!

Good location to where we were going to see family.

The bathroom had lots of mold in the shower. Toilet didn’t work correctly. Beds were very uncomfortable. Carpet always feels wet.

Location, pool, breakfast, employees were wonderful, friendly, helped with what could, clean, comfy bed. We will return.

1st night …room 407 was up with guest across hall talking up to 4am. Terrible because we could not sleep and our son had a swim meet the next morning. The fan on the air conditioner rattled, the hair dryer in room was broke. The night staff knocked on guest door when we called and hair dryer replaced.

Nice accommadations

the hotel was nice and clean and met our needs. Would definitely stay again and recommend. My husband said the breakfast was great.

The pillows need replacing for sure.

there are not a lot of hotel options in Blacksburg during a sports weekend at the school however most all of the hotels

it is very old and dated property. the room did not have bed bugs but I did get bit by a spider in the middle of the night. the quality of the soap, conditioner, hair shampoo was equivalent to a $75 per night hotel being told for $265 per night due to the football game and other sporting event that particular weekend.

the breakfast was all industrial food. very little nutrition.

OK, but for the price would look at other options next time.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Beds were fairly comfortable. Shower/bathroom was fine.

Air unit in the room was loud and rattle-y, never turned off, ever. Breakfast was just so-so, not kept up with very well by staff, low quality (e.g., no fresh fruit, just fruit cups... sketchy yogurt vs a known brand... no OJ and other juices very watered down... coffee was not good... no healthy cereal options, literally just sugar pops and apple jacks).
