Crooks, thieves

There was nothing to like. Carpets are stained up. Beds are squeaky bathrooms stained up, too. They advertise a lounge. That's false advertisement. That's why I booked a room there. My business trip ended 1 week early. They would not refund me my balance. They are foreners and crooks. They robbed me of my money. My bathroom window was wide open and the screen was riped open.. I told them someone tried breaking in. If they had cameras. He said yes they did. But didn't want to check them. I'm more mad that they wouldn't refund me my balance. The total cost was over 1 thousand $$. The right thing to do is refund me my balance!!! There crooks

There is nothing to like at this hotel. There pool isn't even operational

Great place to stay in Van Horn on that lonely stretch of I-10

On the time zone line and had clocks of zones so you knew what time it was. Friendly staff

The fact that it was quiet.

There was no pool, no cable or if there was it didn't work. The WiFi was very slow, the lounge was closed. There was small bugs in my bathroom when I got there.

Better off at motel 6

The staff at the front desk were friendly

Room needed a lot of maintenance and the shower was only hot or cold (I couldn’t make it just warm)

Comfortable room at a very reasonable price.

Room was quite and comfortable. This motel does not get the highway noise that many other motels in the area get. Good parking and directly across the street from Sizzler. Staff was nice.

No frills, but clean and comfortable, excellent value!

Close to the freeway and the price wasn't bad.

Needs some serious updating. And the bug problem addressed. I killed two very large roaches in my room.

A safe, comfortable place to stay.

Nice and quiet, safe, great hospitality, the housekeeper goes way out of his way to help in any way

The breakfast is pretty much just a pastry and coffee, but that is all I need for my sake.

Inside the room was really cute set up. Roomy, table with chairs nice sized bathroom, bed and tv. Airconditioner worked very well.

The exterior was deceiving looks wise.

the rooms were hotter as hell, found dead roaches beside my bed, and the water gave me lead poisoning, and the so called "security" kept stalking us to see if we had a dog

you get what you pay for, except it is overpriced for what we got. Mgrs/owners? are nice.

Bed was comfortable, had A/C, tiny fridge, and microwave, TV. They are trying to keep it a nice place. Definitely need renovation. Did get coffee in the morning.

new paint, new front door, need new carpet too. As far as a breakfast, it was just bagged muffin or something and coffee. No toast, eggs , cereal.

Emerald Inn - Missing Amenities

Large room and quiet location. The a/c worked well and the refrigerator was nice to have.

The pool was closed, the ice machine had no ice, and there wasn't any breakfast. The rooms were pretty shabby - needs new paint and bathroom was old and kind of rusty/dirty. It was super hot (100 degrees at 9pm) and the room was like an oven when we arrived.

Location and easy access. Bed was comfortable

Air conditioner could have been better to cool the room. It was noisy, too. Block highway noise? Tattered carpet. Cool shower, lacked hot water. Clean but a little rough.

Watch where you light up if you smoke.

Very close to the freeway. I usually stay 2 times a month traveling for work.

I was smoking at the edge of the sidewalk more than 15 ft from my room with my door closed. The manager came up to me(walked from the office over to me) asked my name, what room I was staying in. He told to make sure I'm not smoking in the room and he wanted me further away from my door. Which was closed, so I wouldn't make the room smell. Ummm, why do think I'm outside smoking away from my door. Needless to say, I felt scolded by the manager. Not happy. I will let him know.
