Very disappointed with stay.

Air conditioner worked well.

Food left in refrigerator. All draws had dirt in them. Key card did not work and had to go back and have them programmed again. No towels in rooms had to go get them my self.

Beds were comfortable.

It was dirty, fridge dirty. Only one outlet to use for charging phones. When you flushed the toilet it made a very loud whistling sound for 3 minutes. Towels were stained, no garbage bags in can and floors were dirty.

Do not stay here!

There was sufficient lighting. There was a microwave but no turn table. There was a refrigerator. There was a flat screen TV.

The room smelled like a wet dog. I had to change the battery in the smoke detector, as it kept beeping, because the manager had left, and there was no maintenance person available. There was rust in the tub as well as moldy areas. There were cigarette burns in my sheets. The bed was old and uncomfortable. There were cigarette burns on the toilet seat. There was NO room service. I made my own bed, cleaned and had to find a garbage can outside to put my garbage in. There were never fresh towels. I had to ask for toilet paper twice and go get it. My room phone didn't work and told the front office 3 times. I also had a broken remote for the TV. I had to ask 3 times for a new one. The room was dusty in some areas. The lamp shade was burnt and yellow. There was dog hair in the room. I took 19 photos and contacted Red Roof Inn Corporate offices. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to go to a new motel. I was visiting from another state.

We travel up to this area about once a year will not stay again our sugest anyone else to.

The size of the bath room you could not even change ur clothing. Where sharing a room and have to keep kicking someone out side some people could change. All the black mold in the bathroom and it needed dusted in general. When the sheets get to warn out just replace them no one wants to see spots that are warn though. Also no reason for old blood stains don’t even Saint to know where they came from.

absolute hell, don’t waste your money

Absolutely nothing about this property was good. It was old, tired,dirty, noisy and stunk of cigarette smoke. The floors were dirty the bathroom shower was hanging out of the wall and the noise from the traffic on the freeway was awful.

Needs to hire better cleaning people

The only thing we likes was the shower.

Everything was dirty. Our 1st room we checked into was bad. Had hair and makeup on the sheets. We moved to a 2nd room and the heater was not working properly but it was doable cause we were tired at this point. Bathroom had cobwebs behind the door and burn holes on the comfort

I stay at this hotel every time I visit Merrillville! I love it here!

Location was the best! Right down from the mall. Surrounded but numerous restaurants.

I have never had to write a bad review before but this room is it. wobbly table spilled my daughters drink. Holes punched in wall. Room smelled. Bathroom looked very unsanitary. Debris under at least one bed. Thin mattresses with no box spring.

The mattress had a huge blood stain on the side of the bed. I went to the front desk to complain and he asked me did I want another room. I told him, no I wanted my money back.

Worst room ever!

The hotel was horrible! They have roaches and I have it on video. The shower was terrible...the bed felt like the floor .... every time we left the room we had to go back to the office to the keys reactivated because they stopped working. I will never go back to this hotel again! I asked for another room and was told they didn't have any even though the one next door to me was vacant. Worst room ever!

This is the spot to be! Great prices great location clean rooms! Book here trust me!!

I loved everything!! From staff to the cleanliness of my room to the location ( right down the street from the mall) this hotel is right in the middle of eatery spots!

the places around it were nice.

roaches, shower head barley worked, pillows were incredibly flat, bathroom was really small and not like the pictures. someone was knocking on our door at 4 in the morning? room service never came, out of toilet paper, no room for trash

Red Roof will NEVER get any more business from me or my family!

Stuff on the walls, bugs (dead) on the floor. You could literally touch the mattress and feel the bed springs.

The ability to be able to cancel without being charged. The air conditioning worked well

The room was pretty dirty. The floors definitely weren't cleaned at all. There was urine spatter all around the toilet. The bathroom was generally uncleaned. The sink had hair all around the inside of it. The bed was very springy. The towels were very few, very small, and felt like sandpaper. Very strange people. One woman gave us mean looks as she's collected wood while her much older gentleman stared at us while walking up and down the parking lot and standing in the door of his room. Very uncomfortable feeling
