Disappointing at best!

Did not like the location or the accomodations. Room photos on the site are deceiving. The only personable contact was with the woman serving breakfast. She was lovely and the one breakfast l had there was good.

I didn't like the room. Twin beds, a long dustry wall heater, although the photos on line show double beds and kiva fireplaces! Two wooden steps to enter with about 18" between the wall and the first step.

It made Christmas such a memorable time for my husband and myself.

The breakfast was wonderful and Sara was wonderful the atmosphere is great the quietness the peacefulness the hospitality is wonderful. Will return either in the summer or next Christmas. Love the Taos area well keep secret in New Mexico and The Old Taos Guesthouse gives you an opportunity to experience the beauty of the area.

Nothing this gives you a taste of New Mexico and its history. Its Great.

Enjoyed catching up with my friend, Mary, that met me in Taos for the weekend!

This B&B was very close to the downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. The owners were actually present and fixed breakfast our first morning. Enjoyed a great conversation with the owners. The dining area was very clean.

We ate breakfast 2 out of the three mornings we were there. We had pretty much the same breakfast both mornings. The rooms are cozy but could use some updating and a good deep clean. The shower needs to be updated.

We loved this private, quiet, friendly B&B and will stay again!

The breakfast was awesome and such a friendly relaxing atmosphere.

There was no TV in the room, but some of the rooms did have TV’s. We will know next time which rooms have it. It wasn’t a big deal.

Exceptional

Staying at the Guesthouse let us feel the real essence of Taos. Breakfast every day was something different, all hand prepared by Bob and Mary/Cady. Bob was a fount of information, we followed his recommendations and had great adventures each day of our stay. We will be returning to Taos to enjoy the hospitality offered by Bob and Cady. Yazmin and I can confidently send our friends and relations to Old Taos knowing they will enjoy their visit just as we did. Bird watching was the best!

There was nothing that could have been better other than the bed. Ambience of a two hundred year old hacienda trumps any any minor inconvenience (we had none).

Fantastic King room with a California King sized bed, TV and fireplace. Tasty and warm breakfast included compliments of Bob. Out in the country, but still close enough to enjoy Taos; with animals that make it feel like a real home: "Scout" the dog, "Mimi" the sweet, affectionate cat and various chickens will make you feel welcome and special. Nice sitting areas off the back of the hotel with country views and chickens and Scout the dog running around.

We originally booked a queen. Go for the King suite for $40 more and have a memorable experience! We upgraded to the "Artist's studio" with a wonderful adobe fireplace, 40" TV, nice hot shower, and California King bed that is a dream to sleep on right next to huge awesome European styled, angled window facing the private back country view. King room was more than twice the size of the queen - huge and perfect for a couple! Breakfast served by personable, friendly Bob was French toast, sausage, fruit, coffee with Scout and purring, sweet Mimi coming up to you for loving pats!

This place is wonderful. The people are nice and the food is fabulous and the space is lovely.

The location is great because it is outside the hustle and bustle of town. The breakfast was superb. Homemade quiche and a super good little apricot pastry. Really enjoyable.

Honestly, I can't come up with anything I would change.

Great location just outside of Taos. Felt like we were out in the country, even though we were in close . Grounds were lovely . Fabulous breakfasts. Friendly hostess .

Rochelle and crew made it one of my favorite places to stay.

The grounds were lovely and a great spot to relax and watch the sunset. It was such a peaceful and fun place we can't wait to return. Breakfast were my favorite blue corn pancakes and as far as I am concerned it does not get much better. :-)

Beautiful but could easily be improved and marketed to include a more diverse clientele.

The property is beautiful and the location feels remote as there are large plots of land surrounding it (some rather eclectically situated with an obvious lack of zoning but it is cleverly situated so as to remain bucolic). The rooms are tastefully decorated and the parking is situated near the rooms to make loading and unloading easy and relatively painless!

Unfortunately the beautiful house did not make up for the basic comforts we did not enjoy in our stay. Our beds were very hard and there were multiple spiders we had to kill in our room throughout our stay. It was also very warm the day we arrived and the fans provided were not enough to offset the heat that made it difficult to enjoy a rest after our long drive. We got up the next day to discover we were the youngest people in the place and while that may not seem a big deal to some it was obvious later when we went out and had dinner and walked around the plaza and enjoyed some beverages that everything shut down at sunset. We will try another location next time and may even venture further into the mountains to find more activities and cooler accommodations.

Stellar!

Everything! The rooms and grounds are impeccably decorated, the owners are so warm, responsive, friendly. Breakfast was exquisite. They accommodated my gluten and dairy allergies with a beautiful breakfast. I was able to upgrade my room onsite to the gorgeous room with a charming stove fireplace. I cannot say enough positive things about this gorgeous, lovely existence!
