Ok but overpriced.

One of the better property in the area but incredibly expensive for nothing else than a regular motel.

Price and manager attitude. She should take an anger management course

Overpriced old motel

The location is convenient for the park. There is parking.

This is an old motel by a busy road overlooking a McDonalds with new hotel prices. It's ridiculously expensive (we paid almost $400 including tax) for what it is, even in midsummer. The air conditioning is noisy, the rooms are dark, they stop serving breakfast at 9:30, check-in time is an unambitious 4pm. People not staying in the hotel use the pool. Basically, it's a old motel operating under a brand. How is it that the major US hotel chains have set a minimum price of $300 plus tax for even their basic properties?

Dated decor, but clean and friendly.

Friendly service, hot hotel breakfast, great location, clean and spacious rooms. Free parking and good Wifi signal. No major issues for a short 4 day stay.

The whole building (and island) are pretty dated, TV is an old model with a very basic remote and did not allow for additional input connection from my laptop. There aren't a lot of lodging options nearby, so I would stay here again.

Nothing Seriously Negative

Friendly staff. Good size room and very clean, which is my highest priority. Comfy beds and pillows.Location was good but not in area to walk to shops. Next to the area visitor museum (was closed) and walkable or rent a bike across the street to the entrance into Assateague. Breakfast bar average but good and kept tidy by staff. Good coffee!

The negatives were tolerable and sometimes typical for motels. Loud AC unit and a loud clicking sound in the wall made for a restless night. Very comfy bed but still have the older polyester thin blanket. Others have moved to bleachable white cotton quilt style. We would definitely stay there again.

Efficient location with knowledgeable staff and excellent service.

Free daily breakfast with large selection of items ranging from cereals to waffles to biscuits to fresh fruit. Well done. Fresh.

Suggestion - change the hours of the breakfast from 7am to 10am. Otherwise no complaints. Staff deserve a raise.

Wonder filled.

The breakfast was good. The staff members are exceptional. The location at the entrance to the Chincoteague National Park is ideal. The hotel seems to attract repeat visitors and many of the visitors are equally friendly and helpful as the staff.

Close proximity to Assateague.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. When my partner was injured and we needed to leave town days early they were wonderful and understanding.

Cleanliness was exceptional, great location, great breakfast, ample parking. Value for the money.

Not having Heated pool, needing a restaurant or bar in hotel.
