Excellent service

The staff has southern charm and the best attitudes. We laughed a lot and felt right at home.

We booked this room expecting the pool to be in service. The day we checked-in the pool had a leak and we were not able to swim.

Great staff, clean rooms, and enjoyed the pool area.

A 9am end time to breakfast is a little early for a weekend.

1) If traveling from the north, this facility is difficult to access from the highway. 2) When I made my reservation, I stated I would prefer a first floor room if possible. I was put on the third floor. 3) The front desk clerk had a rather matter-of-fact attitude that was not that friendly. 4) The A/C unit in the room was off when I arrived and the room was very warm. 5) The bathroom sink faucet slowly dripped all the time. 6) The toilet fill valve dripped noisily and continuously all the time. 7) The third floor hall had a room-type A/C unit at each end. One was non-working and the other could not keep the hall even remotely cool. 8) The only ice machine in the entire 3-story building was on the 2nd floor, in a room with guest laundry equipment. The A/C in that room was not working. You can imagine what it was like...

Everything was perfect except I really didn't like the coffee and the mattress was a little lumpy but still a perfect stay

The pool was not heated as advertised, the room felt so stuffy and humid even with the cool air on. The room and bathroom could have been cleaner- the toilet had a hair in it when we got there and there was a makeup stain on one of the towels.

Location

The beds were not good. There still claiming COVID for there lack of responsibility of enough staff. I was there 5 days they never entered my room to clean. They said for there safety due to Covid to put the towels outside the door and they will leave new ones so I did but not one day did they leave new ones. I left a trash can outside the door with the towels they didn’t empty that. I understand being short staffed but in opinion that’s just lazy.
