Bugs plus they made me pay for toothpaste

I book a room that’s was available paid for it on booking.com it was 3am when I got there the guy told me that I could not check in till 3 PM so I had to re-book a whole Nother room not only that but they only give you two small towels so every time somebody had to take a shower they had to run back-and-forth to the front office to take a shower it was very aggravating then when I checked in I had to leave at 11 and check out time when I just literally checked in at 3 AM. I had to leave at 11 AM..

I like dat it’s close to Waffle House

I don’t like how when I ask for a specific amount of towels so me and my people could take a bath they would decline and ague when it’s shouldn’t even be an argument.

Terrible customer service-the worst attitude ever witnessed by anyone in the hospitality industry!

On the morning of my check out, I was unable to log onto to the internet and I had an important email I needed to send. I went to lobby to ask for assistance. I was told by a middle-aged Indian man at the front desk that I had to bring my laptop into the lobby. This was a major inconvenience and made no sense. I told the man this and that I was not happy. The man then said to me: "Good, I don't care. I am glad you are not happy." This is just about as rude and uncaring as it gets. I told the man he should lose his job and left.

Location

The cockroaches, the pool was broken and the housekeeping staff left a rude note on the bed. My daughter has a medical condition and wets the bed about once a week. We added extra bed protection to the bed in case she did have an accident. The note said. Don't pee on our beds, thanks.

it was nasty!

It was close to the venue that we took the weekend trip for.

It was nasty. there were little gnats flying in the bathroom as well as the rest of the room. The keys used to unlock the doors was extremely difficult. The blankets looked like they hadn’t been washed.

It was not to my liking and overall would not recommend anyone to stay.

No hot water and the blankets weren’t to my liking.The towels were very dinge dirty and hard cheap.

spartan facilities in an older hotel, but the management keeps it unbelievably clean and neat! Excellent value!

very very clean! east access from Interstate 10.

not very welcoming to travelers with reservations at first. mainly concerned that we were not going to smoke and did not have a pet with us. Everything locked up at 4 in the afternoon, so lack of trust made us uneasy about area, but it did not appear to be a high crime region. we could be wrong, therefore we are tempted to choose another place next time. Rooms enter to outside, and stairs are used to get to 2nd floor. No elevators.

I booked the room for the pool only in the pool is closed and green

I guess the bed is comfortable

The pool was closed for the rest of the year. The room has a weird odor edit is decorated in gray and avocado green. breakfast is not a hot breakfast just coffee and muffins and cereal and juice.

DO NOT STAY

The only good thing this place had was the nicest gentleman ever. He was wonderful. Looks like the are about to remodel.

Everything else. The rooms smelled bad. Not clean. Roaches. No swimming pool. DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURES.

Things have changed in the past 3 years

We stayed here 3 years ago and the experience was good and served to help us choose to return here on this trip and book 4 rooms. We were pleasantly surprised to find the same man and woman at the front desk (I assume they are the owners). They are very pleasant and helpful. The front lobby is very inviting and clean. We noticed pallets of new toilets and laminate flooring stacked in the front parking area. We assumed that they were starting a remodel of the property and was expecting that we would staying in a freshly refurbished room. But........

The pleasantries ended at the front desk. As soon as we opened the door to our room we were overwhelmed by the odor of weed. Then as we settled in we couldn't help but notice the level of uncleanness of the room. The walls were dingy and stained. There were, what appeared to be bloody finger prints on the bathroom door and the door was broken badly and had been patched with caulk and silicone. The white baseboards around the room were almost black. The mini fridge was dirty on the outside, so, I can only assume what was on the inside. The TV stand was absolutely filthy across the front and the bottom kick plate was disgusting. Very disappointing experience.
