Cool stay with great views

The location is the best part of the stay, and they have some cute attributes to the movies that have been recorded in the area (tiny museum, John Wayne's Cabin, a tiny cinema that shows black and white movies) and to the founders of the place.

They have quite a lot of rooms and staff seems a bit uninterested, for a lot of people staying here is like stepping into a movie or making a dream come true but it loses a bit of personality because of the size of the place (that we did experience at similar places on our trip that were smaller).

Wonderful time exploring Monument Valley.

The meal at the restaurant, the museum and John Wayne’s cabin, the view!

I had difficulty changing rooms because I went through Booking.com. They were not as easy as other places we stayed.

The BEST accommodation there is for any traveller

Goulding’s Lodge is an outstanding accommodation, with excellent rooms that have full view of Monument Valley. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive to guests needs. The food at Stagecoach Restaurant is outstanding, delicious and healthy. The gift shop and other facilities like the pool are brilliant for an all round stay. Fireworks outside your veranda on 4th of July are a must.

There were no negatives about this accommodation.

Good view comfy cabin

location was great, good view of Monument Valley. cabin is more than I expected. I would like to stay here one more night if I plan all over again.

I would expect an electrical stove in the kitchen, they have a pretty big amount of Owen and a fridge. I tried to boil water for tea in microwave , they was not good.

Scenografico affaccio, posizione comoda alle visite e alla sosta nella valle, parcheggio di fronte alla porta della camera.

Non presente la colazione, ristorante appena passabile con poca scelta e qualità bassina….negozio di souvenir pagabile solo con cash!

Super séjour avec vue sur Monument Valley de la terrasse! Très belle chambre supers lits calme

Great location for a stay with the dogs.

We had a nice little cabin with a kitchenette and a view. It was a good place for our dogs. Our stargazing tour was cancelled (not by Gouldings) but we had a pretty nice night sky viewing just outside the cabin.

Historic lodge with great location and views.

Great location. Interesting history. Wonderful views! Restaurant is convenient and food is plentiful and good. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

Our vacation at Gouldings and Monument Valley was perfect in every way.

Every lodge room has a panoramic view of several buttes. There’s also a very personal museum that gives the history of the founders and early days of the lodge, a very good restaurant with great staff, a nice gift shop, free nightly showings in a little theater building of John Wayne movies that were filmed in Monument Valley, hiking trails starting right on the premises, and guided motor tours of the area. The lodge location is spectacular.

Unless a visitor wants high end luxury, this lodge has everything for a comfortable and interesting stay.

Very good location. Liked the historic vibes like the goulding‘s house as a museum and the daily western movie. Did not use pool, restaurant or shop.

Old, smelly and overrated. But great view.

The view towards Monument Valley

The accommodation was quite old and the whole room smelled strange. I didn't feel comfortable with this ancient furnishings and the musty carpet. I even found that a little disgusting. I can't understand the positive reviews here because I didn't think the accommodation was great, especially at such a high price.

What a sunrise

The view was incredible, the people were super nice, comfortable bed, we went for a little walk to the arche 20 mins away super cool little trail to do! they also had a hotel dog that was so cool.

our coffee machine was broken, it was early morning, and they didnt replace it super fast (which is fair it was early) so we went out to get coffee. maybe checking that all coffee machine works could be good.

Good location but could have more kitchen conveniences for those fixing their own meals.

It was a good location for exploring Monument Valley and other places nearby.

The property could have been better equipped, particularly the kitchen...no cutting board or small sharp knives or baking sheet. Pretty barebones. We made it work but we would suggest adding a few more pieces of kitchen basics to make it more amenable.

Great historical spot for Monument Valley trip

Loved the cabin - room for three teenagers to sleep in front area; separate bedroom in back for parents. Kitchen was greatly appreciated - enjoyed eating at the restaurant for dinner. We were the first row of cabins and had a lovely porch to look at the view. Liked the history of the place; a walk to the arch by the campground recommended

A beautiful area, and so peaceful/relaxing!!!

Loved the views (this was my 1st at Monument valley. I usually don't pay extra for tours, and this time I did and it was fantastic. I had great time with the driver, Sam, and he was so accommodating and knowledgeable.

I can't say there was anything that I didn't like?

A great place to stay for view and food although the room is just basic.

Very basic room. However the restaurant was really good for both dinner and breakfast, with great service and great food. The view from the room was fabulous, actually stunning.

Great hotel on the edge of Monument Valley

Our stay was great - check in was smooth, parking was available, and we had the most outstanding view of Monument Valley from our hotel room. Although breakfast isn't provided with the room, the Stagecoach Restaurant is good and only a few steps away from the hotel.

Good value for the off season, but needs updating.

Showing its age. Very worn down bathroom. Fixtures, toilet, cabinets ect need to be ripped out. Also needs a microwave! Very few options for food in the area and feels like you are pushing people to go to the restaurant.

Le'emplacement est super.

Nous avions réservé pour 6 et on nous a donné un logement avec 4 couchages avec aucune vue, on nous a dit que pour avoir 2 couchages supplémentaires il faudrait payer 40 dollars de plus. Nous étions obligés d'accepter et avons eu, en payant plus, un logement bien plus petit. Le canapé lit était en plus très inconfortable...
