Hôtel très bien situé, près de Central Park, subway E venant de Jamaica (JFK) à deux pas. Petit déjeuner bien fourni et tôt (6.30 am en semaine, 7 am le week-end). Gym 24/7 assez bien équipée. Chambre confortable, cuisine full équipée (frigo/congélo/micro-ondes/lave-vaisselle/machine à café/bouilloire). Personnel sympa et pro; il y avait même distribution de glace (délicieuse) l'après-midi à l'accueil !

La chambre manque de prises USB, n'oubliez pas votre chargeur international si vous avez plusieurs appareils à charger en même temps !

Residence Inn by Marriott has a perfect location just off Broadway between Central Park and Times Square. It is a big chain hotel with 60+ floors and all facilities you could expect including a well-equipped fitness centre. A big plus also for the guest laundry next to the fitness centre, very practical. We stayed four nights in two wonderful rooms with a breathtaking view over the city and Central Park. Since we had an early evening flight out of New York we asked for and got a late checkout without extra cost, highly appreciated.

The only negative was the breakfast. The content as such was acceptable even if not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. But the serving was a big let-down: only disposable (plastic/paper) tableware and cutlery. A big disappointment at an otherwise excellent hotel.

Great location, close to the subway & the park. Fantastic rooms, loved the windows & the kitchenette. Good showers & comfy beds. The staff was so warm, friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was more options than typical, flavor was medicore but it was free. Special shout out to Kimberly at the front & Orlando at the luggage desk they were fantastic & so nice!

Huone 63. kerroksessa, näkymä Time Squarelle oli kerta kaikkiaan upea ja mieleenpainuva! Ympärillä ja vastapäätä näkyivät kymmenet pilvenpiirtäjät, jotka illan valaistuksessa olivat uskomattomia. Voimme vain suositella. Muista pyytää hotellilta muutamaa päivää ennen saapumistasi. Aamiainen oli hyvä, vaikka aluksi piti totuttautua kertakäyttöastioihin. Kannattaa ehdottomasti sisällyttää varaukseen. Mukavaa oli se, että aamiaiselta voit ottaa m.m. hedelmiä huoneeseesi ja muutakin, jos halusit. Se ei maksanut extraa ja sitä ihan suositeltiin. Pieniin teknisiin ongelmiin WC:n kanssa tuli apu 5 minuutissa! Lähtiessä lasku oli centilleen oikea ja kopio siitä tuli vielä kotiin jälkeenpäin sähköpostissa. Sijainti oli erinomainen, muutama sata metriä kahdelle lähellä olevalle metroasemalle. Uber osoittutui taksia paremmaksi niin laadultaan, kuin hinnaltaankin ja odotusaika kyydille oli useimmiten alle 5 minuuttia. Sijainti Broadwayn kulmalla innoittaa varmasti nauttimaan alueen musikaali-tarjonnasta. Kävimme katsomassa sekä Moulin Rougen että Michale Jacksonista kertovat musikaalit. Kun ensi tahdit Moulin Rougessa alkoivat loppu olin sitten yhtä lentoa, hienoin esitys ikinä! Operations Manager Jamie Bond oli erittäin avulias.

Reception alue oli pieni ja siellä oli ajoittain tungosta. Vain muutama istuinpaikka. Palvelu oli kuitenkin aina avuliasta ja kaikki toimi. Joskus hissiä joutui aamuisin odottamaan hetken aikaa, mutta sen verran aikaa on aina lomalla. Maailmaa nähneenä jää yhdeksi 10 parhaasta hotellikokemuksista kokonaisuudessaan.
