Nice place to stay with a great breakfast selection.

The breakfast selection was fantastic, the room space and bed were very good.

It was a little more costly once all the fees were added in.

A lot of the issues with our stay would’ve been overlooked had the staff been friendly and kind.

The hotel was fairly clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also decent. The pool was heated which was nice for the kids.

The pictures on the website made the hotel look nicer than it actually was. Staff were unfriendly and rude. Shower curtain in our room was broken and there was a head sized hole in the bathroom door. It also smelled musty and smoky. There wasn’t a hot tub like the website showed which ruined the pool experience for some of us.

I liked the location. The breakfast was good (we had to heat it up in the microwave to get it to our liking). I liked the fact that they had lots of options: cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, eggs (scrambled and hard-boiled), sausage, french toast, waffles, biscuits & gravy. They also had a wide assortment of things to drink: teas, hot chocolate, coffee, orange juice and apple juice. The room was spacious. We liked the view outside our window. We watched the birds and the bunny rabbits play every morning.

They did not have a tea/coffee maker in our room as advertised. We were able to get some in the lobby for the first few days. After that the regular coffee side of the machine was not working. They moved the regular coffee to the other side where the decaf was so that we could get coffee. They said that they were in the process of getting a new coffee machine. There was a big stain on the floor of the room right in front of the sofa.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. The 3 most important things.

Breakfast was decent. Food was good, but, not much of a variety.

It would have been nice to have a working television. I told the woman at the desk, but, It wasn't fixed or replaced.

Comfortable, convenient, clean and friendly, what more can you ask for?

Location is great, the staff was wonderful from the front desk to the cleaning crew. Everyone said hi to my daughter and we’re very friendly.

No view out the window due to a tree.

Comfortable, friendly desk staff, clean, and convenient location.

Room close to front door, easily accessible to walk the dog. Nice breakfast options. I liked having hot water for tea anytime.

Sunday morning breakfast was busy and there was no visible staff to refill napkins, cups, tea or to clean up. This was 8:30

Good breakfast and good location for our visit. Staff was helpful.

Bed was a bit lumpy and nearby highway 20 east bound exit and west bound on ramps are closed for construction.

The location was convenient

Apparently I signed up for a disabled accessible room. When I stepped in the shower my left foot slid on the slippery surface and I almost fell. I told the person at the front desk and they didn’t even ask if I was ok. I said there should be a mat and they said it wasn’t required but would try and get me one which they did. Ironically when I stepped on the mat that had suction cups on the bottom it moved about two inches. My left calf was sore for a few days and is just now feeling better. I’m staying at a 50+ year old hotel and it even has applied a non slide surface to the tub.

Worked good for us we went to Cedar Falls to watch UNI Softball.

They should replace the shower head it doesn’t perform well.

Exceptional

From the moment we entered, staff was friendly and helpful. I had to sleep on the couch and it was actually the best sleep I've had in a long time! The spread for breakfast was amazing!! Also, my son forgot his air pods and I made a call as soon as we noticed and they had em waiting for us at the front counter...3 hrs later!! Thank you!!

Only complaint I have was our bathroom smelled a lil funky...like sweaty socks lol but it was clean. Thank you Super 8!
