Gostei bastante do hotel, o quarto tem um bom tamanho e as camas são confortáveis. A área de refeição oferece boas opções. O ônibus que leva até CIty Walk é bastante útil e os motoristas bastante educados.

We loved the family feel and relaxed holiday atmosphere at Cabana Bay. The volcano bay room was fantastic with plenty of room for a family of four.

Location and customer service
Just one Insident. one day I was buying breakfast we had a full tray no room for more plates and I combine a side of bacon and potatoes on top of another plate and this lady(employee) was following me while I was getting some drinks before I checked out and she went behind the cashier to tell her I had more food on the plate before she even check me out like if I was going to steal a side of bacon and potatoes. That was very rude she not even gave me the chance to tell myself the cashier what I had. Aside from this person I could say that this hotel has the best and prompt customer service ever. That was beyond my expectations. Highly recommended.

We liked that you could walk to volcano bay. It was a mile to get there. roughly they said, but it seemed like less of a walk. The hotel room was exactly like what most are. The curtains blocked most of the light. The fridge did not get cold enough to not spoil food or milk, but it was enough to cool drinks. There was a nice bus to the parks every day that was usually not full enough to make you wait. We did use the parking and there was enough to do so every night. The 24 hour front desk was a lifesaver as we got in at 3am after some delays, and we still had a lovely front desk worker help us out and give us a map. Each of the front desk workers were really welcoming we spoke to, even when we went to extend our stay and check out. Great hires. The in house food was decent, but the lines were long. Want pizza? it's 30 min of waiting in line after a long day of walking parks. The refillable drinks cups for 19$ were fun for the kids who made it game to drink more liquid (good), and we found out the last day they could have used them for the slushie machine too. They have a coupon if it's your birthday for a free slushie, pastry, or cake (the cakes they only have during lunch and dinner). It was quiet enough that even though we were near an exit/entrance and the slamming door was loud outside, inside the room it wasn't ever noticed. Yay for soundproofing! Very rarely did we hear our neighbors. Baby crying was minimal, but we weren't sure if it was outside at the pool or inside, but that did come through. I presume it was pool given the rest of the soundproofing seemed fine. There are 2 pool movies. One is older and one is cartoons for the kiddos (There are 2 pools). So check both listings. We did not ever figure out where to do the smores that were advertised online (but never saw anything about it at the resort).
Every day at the poolside a leaf blower would blow sand for 1-2 hours starting at 8am, it is intermittent revving woke us daily. If you left at park close it's an hour wait for the bus (in fall often in the pouring rain). The icemaker was broken the 10 days we were there. The blow-dryer we did use and it worked well to dry out shoes after one of the daily thunderstorms closed the parks and sent us home on a bus we stood and waited for for about 45 min. We never used any of the room equipment (never used the iron, safe, the tv, the coffee pot). The hotel is wide open, you can easily and quickly get foot traffic from the street or to the street, so we didn't let the kids wander without close supervision. We did not pay of the additional "upgraded" wi-fi opting for the base free plan, and the connection speed was abysmal, so we ended up shutting off wifi as we had enough downloaded movies on the ipads and had enough data. We had a lot of incidental charges after staying that showed up. We are still calling to figure these out, as folks keep transferring us, and the calls keep dropping. :/ We had around 1700 dollars of various things billed to our card we are still tracking down. They billed us for the TV (we never used it and they said it didn't turn on so 700$ without notification, billed). I would like to update this once we figure out the other 1000$, but no one seems to know that those are or what the bills are and they do not provide an itemized bill (attempt 3 still waiting). I would be very cautious before staying here again. We are unsure if they billed us for parking daily, is this part of the 1000? That would have been around 90. Ugh. If you want to bowl it's about a 3-4 day wait to sign up for a lane for dinner! Use arcade points asap if no line, can take an hour. They lazy river tubes cost 14$ each.
